As an old school genestealer cult player, I completely approve of this post. Awesome work BAM. Also, if you have learned a new bag of tricks for painting faces, you should share some of them with the group!

Yessir khavor ,it was bailys blog and his class are one in the same exactly as oist mentioned.. The funny thing is start by getting his skin recipe "this can work for anything really including orks" - get that recipe as far as colors or anything close I use what he uses I've have reper MS in my shelves for years when I made the decision to learn from him and how he does things I immediately started using them and they are awesom. Go to his w I p or his blog and look for how he paints realistic faces - try and try some more and you'll start to get what he means especially the gla ing of blue and red . But what really helped me was how he applys and layers the paint. Something I cannot show sadly all I can say is he "ONE BRUSH BLENDS" or layers.

Here's where I'm at . Doing it all with a fractured wrist. I think I should get myself more often. I'm seemingly better when I'm hurt.

Images from a bit of brighter light source.

Didn't like the fact that I took these previous images on my wet pallete with a rainbow of colors at the bottom of these guys.so here's a bit of images with the red wall backdrop and yes with my infamous thumb.

Thanks amphibian (lol) and thanks sicks - the best compliment another artist can give anither is being inspired to go buy a set that one is painting. So by all means get them I just git word the client doesn't have money now do to a divorce. But hey in another note he gave me these to keep as payment for time worked. Cannot beat that with a garbage stick. Well hopefully gel bounce back. He's a good mate. E

I've been holding off because I'm not too interested in the marines in the set, I love the Tyranids in there though, I guess they will be released seperately eventually but who knows when

Bad luck on the hand! Did the doctor give you any painkillers? Maybe that's what's contributing to your painting zen! I went and found Bailey's skin and face tutorials on WAMP, I will have to try out his skin recipe on my next mini. Thanks for the tip.

Uh no pain meds ,you see I already get EM...lol so I'm always in painting zen...lol no probs flu hell or high water there'll be painting of some sorts.hang in guys I'm gonna get at least 3 fully done ....that's usually my half assed plan,I paint a lot....and I paint ALOT of models ALOT. So I'll do a bunch ofminis at a high standard ,I rarely ever paint below the display standard I aim for, so that's probably why it's hurting.

damm bam you are one dedicated painter, painting with a broken wrist and all. just make sure you take it a bit easy so you don't do something that'll bite you in the arse later.
the stealers are coming along nicely, loving the metals especially. what did you use for them?
