Broken wrist and messing with the missus' stuff - you sure do love living dangerously!

Toad many painters have their own way of doing things I've superglued things as well never again since a comp piece snapped of at the ankles..so now I use very friendly ,very easy blue tac this one is I guess orange tac being its orange. Comes in all colors it holds my pieces and allows me to remove the models to get those hard to reach places that I need to get a certain angle on...stick with me toad I'll get ya leveled up fo sho...

Look good, man. Are you going to have a big display plinth again? Maybe make it look like a broken up section of a space hulk?

Yessir flu got a few things in mind the space hulk idea was def my first as I have the bases in mind but jus not sure how to fuse them with the plinth second choice is alien world with those tyrannical spore sceneries pieces they make from forge world .and third choice is 8 small display plinths inserted into the plinth.most likely because my scenic plinths have won me 3 diff unit categories my focus is on scenic display .

The rate you churn out these quality units makes me wonder what I am doing wrong. Really impressive, love the green glow on the blades. Squad leader pops too with red being the dominant colour on him. Looking forward to seeing these boys based.

I think I'd leave the magnus with the unit, he works well there and the rate you go through minis you'll have a replacement single in no time.
I'm interested that you work with the figures stuck down with... Brown tac. I've tried the local equivalent (called press stick) and find that it doesn't hold tight enough and the model moves around too much while painting. It might just be that they are different consistencies.

at yeti,hmm maybe your not using enough of a blob.it could also be diff consistencies..another thing is I use the brush with a very light pressure.the tippy top of the point rarely bends.thats how I know I'm using the proper push on the brush..try using a bigger amount....ide be dead without it or order some bluetac on the net.

I may be pushing too hard with the brush in that case... I try to paint with the side of the brush tip (I've destroyed too many brushes by painting with the tip) but my brush often bends a little. Where I've had issues though is holding the mini on it's side or upside down to reach inaccessible places. I've never dropped any, but they do have a tendency to topple.

Def see if you can pick some up via the net.this comes with quite a bit in it and usually hardens and holds even tighter when hits room temp.send me a pic and what yours called again ...se if I can figure this out.

Let me add this when it comes to hard to reach places I POP themini off and hold him in my hands left hand with a latex glove and sometimes barehanded.i find I get the best control that way.but with the tac it still should be fastened pretty good. Hmmm
