It's actually very str8 forward toad. Thank you first off for the comments. IDE be obliged to share. It's a combo of valleo pure silver. On the first edge highlight. It's a metallic. Than I used " the newest silver from (reaper BONES PAINTSET)" again a metallic. Than lastly its a white (pure white , skull white, any white will do and mix it with the valleo and reper together in a 1:1:1 ratio. Thin it out good and apply the edging with this. If its too much knock it back with Agrax earthshade (and lahmian medium) thin to a glaze and viola ... Instant poppy seeds. ;)now go get em!!!

Cool, love what you did there with the blue in the armor. I was worried before that you're colors were mostly in the yellow/orange/red side of the color wheel and the blue was out of place, but now you've completely shifted it to yellow/green/blue. It's like you had a plan all along!! :)

Good lord that is a giant tyranid skull...

Most of the armor is done. To break up large amount of anything that is predominantly a certain temp. I ussually add the opposite in very light applications. So lets day were doing this armor no one really caught it but Greg and fuck tron. I added very very very thinned down application of hawk torquoise (a favorite of mine when doin armor. The thing is it must be subtle because if its too heavy or too many applications the armor look can get a non metal trait. Iow too much and the metal will get a white film over that area.if you simply try to get that film away by glazing inks you'll lose your tint. So very diluted glazes need to be done and you need to know where to stop. Any more you lose your affect . So here are the pics showing how subtle it is. Enjoy. Cannot wait to finish these two so I can get to my shaman which is my personal favorite model of the group.View attachment 49713

I think i was too busy making lame jokes :p that is a handy tip though, I think I tried a long time ago using glazes to tint metal colours but it got rid of the metallic shine, now I see what I did wrong. I like the glowing green effect on the drumsticks and now that I'm paying more attention the blue tints on the metal look nice too, like a slight reflection of the sky

Yea i think the trouble is I used the blue glaze undiluted, this was about a year ago, I am going to steal this idea though :p
