BAM best of luck straightening out the realtors. Big reason I switched to my new position was so I didn't have any direct reports. My sanity is starting to come back after a few months. Thankfully Digga helps pull us back from the edge.

The new guy is awesome. Looks like you actually polished a steel mini. SHINY!

Starting the base

The model is far from finished .. But to break up and retain focus I've starting the base ... Again infant stages. I've ALWAYS wanted to try a new recipe for metals and was curious to see how a fully metallic model would display the skills I've acquired for grimey weather/ war beaten Tmm. So here's the big man himself. SLOBBO ...I mean SLAMBO!!!lol kinda looks like me after a night of scotch!!!:/

It's very unforgiving taking photos of not only shiny but highly reflective glossed out Tmm painted models!!! This guy in particular I cannot get a great photo (Janet) of the models left shoulder pauldron. It's getting too much light and knocking it back making the shades disappear . Again we have a photo setup designed for jewelry a 4-1 ratio of daylight bulbs so its alot of trial and error. These are the best Janet could do until we figure a better set up that's more user friendly to the model and how it's painted alot of metal and alot if gloss. Even the shading is the new GW gloss washes. So if you want a better idea float back and fourth between the camera photos in the light box and the one above them in a universal lighting at my desk with Jan's awesome iPhone 7 cera(which is awesome guys)!!!View attachment 55745View attachment 55746View attachment 55747View attachment 55748

Man, that chaos warrior is looking awesome. great shading and details on the armour.


Hmm, note to self: Next encounter with a Chaos warrior, go for the toes.

Cheers, man. Yeah, I started a new job in January and focused on that for a while. But I dusted off the brushes and did some stuff on my ongoing projects. man, it felt good. :D

Dang it BAM get rid of that little piece of flash on the backside of the blade on his right axe. It is driving me nuts! Lol :laugh::devil:

Otherwise looking good.

Thanks lee I was feeling you were gonna be stopping by and I just knew the marvelous painter you are has always had great taste in models. I just knew if I liked the classical new model , you were gonna live em too.hes still being worked on he's still have axe blades more base work and odds and ends but at this point I'm ecstatic your giving me the thumbs up buddy!!! Thanks sincerely bam!!!!

I figured ill do it when I get to the axe blades I was wondering when the crew was gonna bring it up.. Your the only one with super eyes so at least I know your always looking with your marvelous peepers....;) thank K I'm glad your out there buddy.
