Great look on the team. Like the cream on the armor and will look better than anything on the board.. I hope you enjoy playing the game.

Those Khorne guys obviously gave up out of shame after seeing the magnificently painted stormcast before them. Looks like a fun game, might have to give it a try sometime.

That's how gaming makes fun... nice painted minis and opponents, who are appreciating the piece of art on the table - Thumbs up!

Well at least your enemies are red so you know they're khorne worshipers haha, come to think of it, that strategy might confuse real army's, if they were faced by soldiers dressed like those plastic green ones everyone had as a kid you'd probably be too baffled to shoot

Nice one Bam, does this mean your ridiculously impressive output of minis will be reduced as you'll be playing instead of painting haha

Being I’m now the resident painter teaching master lasses at Games workshopsallentown I started with gold being it’s the color used often in these tecent times ruled by eternal s and invocamos etc etc. I’m taking those clad in blessed armor the stormcast. So I started to test out my painting of gold which o don’t often do. Oh well might as well start to paint some stormcast!!!View attachment 67911

All I can think about with that pose is this.

Cracking gold though BaM, nice use of purple as a shade. Is he going to be grimed up good and proper?

I like the scuffed up Stormcast, nice break from the pristine duder's you usually see.

TMM Gold is best achieved with chestnut ink, for the shades you add some black in it, mid tones neutral, highs add some yellow. Don't forget to re highlight with your brightest metal after each shadings. Have fun!!!!

Well that’s def is a good point Jocelyn. Me I’m a stickler for using complimentary colors in my shades .. yellow gold can also benefit very nicely from purple which I’ve used here. In diff amounts of intensity derived through diff quantities of aplications it produced s very nice and pleasing gradient to the eye. :)View attachment 67930And to show a moregolden hue I’ll glaze in some Cassandra yellow at the end of the highs and shades to get a rich yellow look.again though there are sooo many routines for yellows and this is a great way for all of us to show the diversity of painting miniatures.
