First, the orcs look great. Again, it's really cool to see those Rackham sculpts presented in such a different way. They look pretty much exactly as I'd expect a bunch of opportunistic scavenging greenskins to!

More importantly, JANET RULES! That's awesome that she not only gave it a try but that she was interested in picking up tips from her in-house guru! I'm quite certain you haven't exhausted your store of helpful information. Janet really has talent and seems to have a clear image in her mind of what she wants the model to look like. So... ______asMedium?

The Orcs are rocking. The small chief looks brooding about the lot.

Congrats to your wife. Will not be long before we are watching Mrs BaM in awe.

It's great that Janet has caught the painting bug. This artistic pursuit called mini and figure painting needs more like her to even up the gene pool a little. At least she has a decent tutor. The lips on your orcs look almost "schmackable".

Every body be careful of the soul wars boxed set.... models are amazing and it pulled in more money than dark imperium !!! They have never in the history of GW had warhammer 40k be outgunned by a fantasy boxed game. Well... it did. Problem is on some of the more cooler figureS are EASSSY TO SNAP WHEN “snap fitting them together” they have skinny arms and even skinnier poles carrying shit. Anyways the models are incredible. I wanted some time to get out of my system many side projects while I prepare for NOVA OPEN. You need sometimes to get out of the system painting projects just to paint and have that are cool.everyone should do this time to time. I’m haveing a great time painting with Janet. I takes the rigors of competeing and puts the the love back in it:) it’s a balancing act.
Heres janets first model as I begin my basework for my entries(the easiest part) and finish my small duel and a few other odds and ends.View attachment 68035View attachment 68036

Long time without entering the forums and I have just had 3 pages of refreshing work from you. (shifting from orcs to human, and to TMM, has to bee a nice feeling!)
Love that purple tones on the gold! The duel idea is very cool.

JewelsAsMedium would be an appropriate name too... ;) And I wish I started to paint at that level!! wow Looks like you'll have lots of fun sharing knowledge. Now you should try and make an earring or something in exchange!

Ooh la la! Do you still put on your pants one leg at a time?

But all kidding aside, that's awesome dude! Having your minis on display is always nice, but having a double whammy of a framed and almost gilded White Dwarf next to them is awesome! :D
A well deserved recognition I say.

They really need to get their armor fixed, it would never suffice if it is that faded. Bad Ultramarines, Robute does not approve!

WOW have I been out of pocket too long. The orks are just awesome. The gold on the proctologist really looks well annealed. Especially the chest plate which looks like it has been blasted with a few fireballs. Nice look. and congrats on enjoying the gaming aspect. It is good to see you having fun.

It is also ver awrsome that Janet is getting into the hobby. Her first mini is very good...she must have a decent teacher to draw on! ;)
