Hey guys,
Not too much done since the last update, the marine is finished apart from the DA emblem and base, and I’ve started work assembling the rest of the squad. As this update is so disappointing, I thought I would include some pics of my workspace for you all

Hey everyone,
Been quite busy lately so i havnt had much time to update, but i have been painting a bit.
I have got the first basecoat on 6 marines for the DA army, they still need another coat though.
I have finished the armour on 4 dwarves for my LOTR army.
And i have also started on a Dwarf Lord. This is the first mini i have used Matte Medium with and it works fantastically. The paint no longer rubs off and im able to add lots of colour nuances etc that i wasnt able to before so im quite excited with the possibilities now
I have also included a couple of supersised pics of the dwarf for better scrutiny. ( i have more if anyone wants to see them, didnt post them now as there are already a few pics :lol: )
All feedback is welcome, especially on the dwarf. I am getting into some serious painting now in preperation for GD this year and would like as much criticism as possible so i can improve.

Onto todays update,
Ive been working on some marines for the DA army, once these 3 are finished (which they should be today), that will give me 4 complete marines, not much but its a start
After these guys its onto another 3 marines and a sargaent for the squad.

Apologie\'s for the lack of updates recently, ive been quite busy and havnt had time to take some pics untill now. To those with questions i will definately be replying to you, im just a little short on time at the moment, give me a day or two and ill get back to you.
I have finished the first 4 marines (Bar the freehand, and i also noticed the flamers \"liquid holder\" isnt painted) and i have started work on the next four(including a sargaent).
The sargaent is almost complete and the other three are receiving their final highlight on the armour, im hopeing to have these four finished by the end of the weekend.
My plan is to have sargaents/captains etc as well as devestators in robes, and \"grunt\" marines unrobed.

Here is the recipe for the armour
Basecoat: Bronze Green
Highlight 1: 1 part Bronze Green and 1 part Deep Green
Highlight 2: Previous mix + 1 part Yellow Green
Highlight 3: Previous mix + 1 part White

Well, i thought i should give you all an update on things as ive been quite absent lately :roll: , and was feeling bad that i hadnt said anything for a while
I ended up finishing the next 3 marines, bringing the total to 8, and have had to leave them there for now as i have an ever approaching deadline for my Wyrd competition entry, and as i cant post pics on the forums ive been away for a while, that and the fact its been quite busy here.
Hopefully i can get this Wyrd mini finished up soon and get back to giving you all some nice updates

@Manus: Sorry for the wait, as i mentioned its been quite hectic lately. Here is a guide for painting the plasma.
Basecoat: 50:50 mix of Yellow Green and Light Green
Highlights: Add white to the previous mix and paint this in the grooves of the plasma (inbetwwen the raised parts)
Then re-paint the basecoat onto the raised parts
The glow is just the basecoat applied in alot of layers onto anything it would glow on.
