Hi all,
well I need some advice on painting light colours still... for the legs I started from a black primer, then
Basecoat: Shadow Grey (this would provide shade)
1st highlight: Shadow Grey 1:1 Space Wolf Grey
2nd highlight Space Wolf Grey
I think my problem is I\'m rushing, I get a very watery, gradient finish. Not smooth at all...
With lighter colours is it even more important to keep those paints THIN and make more passes?
I mean, good blender would answer this, and I know this is all relative to the painter, but how long what you be spending on those leg areas and shoulder pads on the SOB? I think they took me 30 minutes but I\'m a super slow painter too.
I\'m happy with the face and the hair.. I think the shade for the dark blue is probably too dark?
Also happy with the blue shade I put on the black and probably use that style from now to shade black areas.
Help!
