the carrasco skeleton above? i belive allan painted it too. really sweet but not his best pj in my opinion it lack contrast a bit.

ok this is a picture of my very veeeery sad painting place at the moment, but its better than nothing and at least im painting again. i need to get things organized somehow everything is a total mess. ive also ordered a new lamp for painting as this doesnt cover it.



the frog-man is almost done now just some details left


feels nice to have something new to show for salute at least.

here's another shot. some work left with the fishing rod lines and stuff, and a suitable sign on the front. lets see what i can come up with.
feels so good to finally close this project.



begun a little with the duel, starting with the ogre. going to do some more glazing different colors on it though but this is the rough start. i dig it

I dig it too my brotha. Really interesting flesh tone you got going there. I see a very normal, light skin base and then a very interesting, nuanced result. How did you get from that basic look to that dark tone?

cheers guys skintone is a mix of (the basecoated) skincolor (its a Andrea miniatures paint, dont remember what it was called) and hull red (vmc). did wetblend to begin with and then glazes.., these colors together actually get a small purple tint, especially together with white. the warm brown is gw's dark flesh which is awesome.

Skel,I love the Ogryn project. It really inspired me to pick up some Ogryn from FW, and on more than one occasion, I was a click away from purchasing. Your style is so unique and it really inspires me to try out true metallics or attempt to paint in your manner.

The banner, while awesome, is not your best to be honest. Again it's very well done but it's all about if you wanna accept a 9 or a 10.
