shield is coming along, just need to clean it up a bit then hit it with weathering and chipping. or any suggestions?
...painting and walking dead yesterday evening. 3 hours sleep then back to work, which is even worse than my 5hr standard. guess im going to feel like a vegetable later. coffeeeeee
again really nice work Skel. you really have a great painting style.
it would seem like a shame to hit the shield with a bunch of chipping. maybe a little weathering a couple chips on the outside edges?
thanks tee, yeah that was my idea too. not aming to go entierly bananas with chipping here, although i must do something as it look to "perfect" right now.

thanks for input skraal :good:
might got a bit overboard which i easily do but yeah this is how it turned out, fairly ok. really feel i need to push it now this project really taking forever, mostly because of the fact i really got no time for this hobby.
i´m sold=) now officially my fav piece of yours! liking the gun, the little lute and defenately the freehand! do something really good with the base this time ye?
as for the base, no real plan so far. thinking of perhaps buying a owl pellet and just fill the base with bones. the downside in that idea is that i have to dig in owl vomit and clean rodent bones. not my idea of a nice evening... ischa, want to earn some extra cash?
Like the owl pellet idea saw JB use it on his DVD and I realy like the effect. I looked at buying some off the Internet pack of twenty sterilised owl pellets was about £10 if I remember right.
cheers folks, glad you like it! got the second shield done this weekend
time to start the rider at last, decided not to add a lot of more details on him, feels like the toad got enough anyway. probably going to fully paint the banner first and then attach the guy.
