ty guys! :) glad you like him, i know that mini's not for everyone so im a bit surprise it score high 8's...

anyway tyranid's currently on ICE :D actually, i grew bored pretty fast. and it turned out looking more like an exclusive mercedez than a oil monster. so, right now i dont know what to paint, and that was a while ago... frustrating really

thanks for all c&c my mino! :)

having dropped that boring nid projekt i went for another enigma model, this time (somewhat unfortunately) a 30mm mini, primus death undead juggernaut. probably so much jason you can come in fantasy.

the mini's is leaning a bit but oh well...

The last is just amazing!!
Man when i see your job and the way you paint i saw the Benoit Menard (yes man Mister Menard one ^^) same way of painting, with great atmosphere on the paint: with lot of wash and juice with may be lot of ink... All that for a final cut simply enormous!!!!! ^^

Poor english for me but but good job for you ahah!

I.

iwok's right, your painting style really reminds Benoit Menard.
You really did a good job with that mini and it's base, very dark and cool atmosphere.

Hi Skel, how on earth did you paint that base so fast? :curse!:

It's all very well your painting so nicely but adding speed in as well is grating on my jealousy nerves ;)

:sigh: It's very pretty. Nice one :good:

Your work seems to have settled into a recognizable Skelettets style. Do you intend to continue refining it or veer off & try something different? A Tommie Soule ultra bright style piece perhaps? It's be nice to see you do something with a human with lots of flesh too. Perhaps the Hasslefree Titania or Otherworld Nymph?

How many more minis do you reckon you'll complete before the arrival of the special one? :)

Cheers, B.

This one looks really good, love Enigma's miniatures (where the heck is my order...) and you've given it a subtle and dark look. BUT your base isn't done yet, missing a skull on top tree branch ;)

:) i dont know who these guys are really but ill guess its a good compliments, especially after watching that link avelorn :)

yeah B, seems like my pieces turns out pretty dark, not my intention really somewhere in the process it just happens... but i have a few ideas to paint more bright, lets see if i ever gets there! oh, and the base took a few hours actually, so you dont have to feel that bad hehe :D
hope i can finish at least one or two pieces after this one before the little one arrives!

grinch; lets see if i can fix another skull up there! :) hope you recieve your enigmas soon, great stuff indeed

Looking great here as per usual :p That´s quite a cool mini and the paintjob is comming along nicely :) I especially like the skull on his helmet :D Is that some nasty little critter traped inside his bellyarmor? :p

Thats one good looking base, looking forward to see the finished mini on it.
And if dull and dark is your style keep it that way, it's working fine.

ty guys! there's something really unholy going on with his stomack for sure. i'll regret i didnt put some faces in there though, it had been cool.
after putting the mini on the base i see i have to work it a bit more, didnt 100% fit the mini, some more redbrown and stonegrey have to fix it!

I'm impressed with your paining, love your bases too, very elaborated and full of details.

And a coincidence, if your soon really comes 18th September we will be having birthday in the same day.
