Your methods, while unorthodox, appeals to me. There's more than one way to skin a buck, and i'm not generally one of them twats who screams "UR DUWIN IT WRONG!" as long as I get to go to the BBQ!

Yo, first update of pj! only two shots though cos the camera died, sigh!

Dark shading?! YOU?! NaaaaW!
Digging it man, i'm a big fan of your style. Very inspirational ans quite possibly harder to pull off then most. The dark is f'kin dark and the light is white or near it. Very dramatic stuff. I like the way the fur came out, you managed not to condense it with definition, just enough to make it be furry and pop without the extreme highlight fever on every bit, like i've seen before. Keep it up!

Rodents are good for only some things! =P I don't think these will tug too many heart strings!
Ah the balance was good, even i'm realising too much dark can be a bad thing! I'm currently digging the dramatic way of doing it a lot (which has over dramatised things a bit) It became more like OSL. All it'd need was a torch or something. Having said that, i'm currently liberating some of your ideas...

"Spiffy" is usually a word you should use as much as possible while wearing a top hat and tails with a monocle and a cane as accessories.

Or when wearing a WW2 RAF pilot outfit.
If you haven't done it before, look up on youtube: "Armstrong & Miller RAF", you won't regret it, isn't it blud?

I use spiffy on a daily basis, I am trying to bring it back to everyday usage.
Love the word, can never get enough!

Lovin' the style Skelley!

You really do work some magic with that brush Skel. Fantastic stuff, as per. I was a little unsure about the fur sculpting being fine enough but as usual, you've proved me wrong :) And that eye-piece looks fine too.

Happy Christmas to you & the family, hope you have a spiffing time :good:

Cheers, B.
