Beautiful work skel! Not wanting to get ahead of this project but what's next? If I were you I'd be having to paint something bright next but I know you're style is quite dark

hey will. actually, my plan was to pain the vampire in the regiment very bright to make her stand out more, but that didnt work. i guess i cant paint bright, as i loooove tons of contrast in the painting. aya! next project is the FW vermin lord, or a duel involving a FW plague toad and a goblin doom diver. haven decided what comes first yet cheers!

so, i finished the last skeleton, phew!

ok one thing i learned in this project is tiny guys like this is not for me. only monsterious infantery in the future. still im pretty happy with how it all turned out (but even happier that they are done, lol). only front sign left to do. later.

so, jump start next projet which is a duel between a nurgle frog and a goblin doom diver. started out with the base which is supposed to be filled with water effect later. upper part is just basic shaped with air drying clay.

whats next is: finish basework and sculpt a toad-tongue that "catches" the doom diver in the air. stay tuned.

oh and i just tried Skyrim on the xbox, man thats a dangerous game!! :O

A very nice froggy! Another awesome fw model, and I love the base idea.

And skyrim is waaayyy too good. And with Diablo 3 next week I foresee many a sleepless night

That`s a great start my friend! Looks very promising... and finally your true sclae to work with. Do me a favor and stop painting ultra tiny mini's. They do not fit to your paintingstyle. The BIG guys are those you should find on your desk.

I think you should fill up the watermark to the bottom of the earthy thing. Or is tehe any idea we don`t know right now?

atacam, if i should reveal my secrets its fence made for mini-railways, buscher is the manufacturer. this link is to a swedish site, but ill bet if you google a bit you could easy find it in a store near you. actually you can find some really cool stuff made for railway hobby, and the H0 scale fits 28-32 mm perfect.

sleipnir, thanks mate. indeed, this is more my cup of tea. the waterline is that level just because the uppe earth thing is mostly outside the sqared base. it will be much more hard to make the "mould" properly without leakage. also, waterline need to match the toad.

One tip: I find useful to use polyglass with silicone unions for these king of situations where one needs plain surfaces. It usually holds the pressure well and the silicone makes sure that you don't have any leak. Hope it helps

Wow Skels. Those grave guard really turned out jaw droppingly good! Really beautiful work. I'm sure the change of pace on the toad will do wonders to get your "fun " level back up. Love the tongue you made. Did you cover it in salt to add texture or is that just the nearest support you could find?
