haha! :D
i regulary dont wash that much, as there is light directions to think about, but on some details on this guy i did it as its so small details it saves a lot of time building up the first shading. but mostly its done by glazing (90% sort of).

back to the guy, for some reason the photos turned out kinda crap but you get the idea.




aaaand the base. nothig that exciting but it gets the job done lol

beautiful work skel, i believe i am going to have to ask how you get your metallics so damm perfect (and also maybe where you ger your display plinths from)

cheers folkes! yeah its nothing funnier than to paint a badass axe for sure ;) meaty, its basically painted the same way as nmm, but with metal colors. use lots of glazes to get a smooth transition from metal to shade, for painting tmm i believe its the best technique, but then i glaze practically everything :D this particular plinth i bought a few years ago at http://www.sockelmacher.de/ but nowdays a German friend doing them for me custom made, so now i have more plinths at home than i will ever use lol

last WIP shot, 99% done...


hope to get finished photos for my gallery in the nearest future. :)

Seriously though, excellent work. The whole thing is top notch but I really like how you made the eyes glow.

oookay some very first very early wip shots of the nurgle prince. slightly inspired by the borgs :) har to see any structure in the white putty (magic sculpt) in these images though.
got no legs yet but probably going to use the ones from the nurgle prince box. instead of bat wings im going to use plague drone bug wings.




any ideas hit me! :)

thanks friends, i really hope it will end up chrisp enough for a serious paintjob. the daemon kit is a really terrible one so even putting a original one together is a challenge.

some progress... after being blessed by nurgle and laid sick in a cold the whole last week. so not an awesome load of updates.

still waiting for the legs n feet, the nurgle prince was sold out at the local GW but they are restocking mid this week. really want to finish this and start to paaaaaaaaint!
