Fantastic skele !
For the inside section maybe parts of a broken chair on the floor or half a painting missing on the wall?

Looking awesome, Skels. It's so dynamic, even without the charging figure! This is really top notch, my friend.
For the inside, perhaps you could do a pattern suggesting sort of dingy wallpaper, as Darth did on this awesome vignette. You could hide the rough bits with weathering, exploding bits of plaster, etc.
Could you perhaps explain a bit about your use of oil washes? I've never tried such a thing, so I don't really know why one would use them and what effects result specifically from that technique. Any help?

the oil washes are really just washes, i use regular oil paint mixed to a wash with white spirit. the benefit is that it flows out really aggressively in comparison to water based stuff, and not much water marks.

dingy wallpaper is a nice idea, right now id like to call it done but i keep that in mind

very very wip no highlights or colourvariations so far, just shading.

A smurfied smuf on smurfoids! I wouldn't want to smurf him in a smurf alley past smurfnight.

Lovely brickwork - must've been a bugger to paint. And the smurf is awesome - I think the little additions to the head really lift it.

It's inspiring to witness such excellent and accomplished painters taking such risks. You've retained the 'ultra-contrast' style I've associated with your work since I joined these forums, but you're using bolder colors (e.g. the oil wash at the foot of the wall and elsewhere) and using color more boldly and thoughtfully (what you've done with the oil wash on a compositional level, and the balance between the lovely turqoise and carmine tones in this piece). You're way better at this stuff than I am, but it's gratifying to see the refinement of your process, though it may be years until I am prepared to apply everything there is to learn from it. Great work, my friend. If I had an award to give, this would get an award.

The model itself is fantastic, however the brickwork is really something to behold. Added to my folder of 'Uber inspiring stuff I one day hope to emulate'

Nice work, I really like the movement that you get into the model and surroundings. Wonderful work on this Stefan.
