So, how long have YOU been painting figures?

I painted 3 or 4 figs when I was in my teens. Then stopped for the next 15 or so years. I started painting again about 5 years ago. I\'ve been doing it steady since then. My wife has been painting for about 1 1/2 yrs. She is quickly surpassing me in skill. My kids are all painting now as I have gotten back into it.

Started painting minis for our very first games of D&D and heroQuest around \'88-\'89. Mostly painting that for some years, then made a WH undead army, several unfinished mordheim warbands, resently had a couple of years break from painting even thought I still worked on conversions for my first 40K army.
Never painted a mini just for the painting, but áfter joining this site I think I\'ll have a go - just to see
