After a hunt I might actually need that CC marine after all. Sure I had some laying about...bollocks.

On another note i'm digging the way the community is coming out to support and add to this project. Good lads!

nope, none at all, i've done it before actually, with much more demanding packages :p

so, to be safe, IW are a dark metal with hazardstripe(-yellow) trim right...
Legion icon should'nt be much of a problem either :p

besides, i've always wanted to do Iron warriors (I LOVE hazardstriping :p)

Nope Iron Warior are Metallic with "Hazard" stripes, Iron "HANDS" are black with metallic hands, and post-heresy, are know for their use of bionics.

Would it help if I begged? It is for Charity (not sure which one yet, have to have a poll) and you do SUCH a wonderful job!

They won't be on a table...LOL.
I will send out instructions as soon as we have enough people to paint them all.
And Matt doesn't have time to do both NMM so another NMM volunteer would be especially wonderful!
I would also like some ideas for Charities. DragonsReach is always good for ideas like this, but I think he considers me kind of a tool, so it might be better if someone else asks him...LOL.

The Pre-heresy EC were not exactly pink. I refer you to post #18 on page one Marshal Angman's post with pictures of some of the paint schemes.

No no, sending something this small (even in secure package) is actually quite cheap. So don`t worry, I will send it back to you. Would never steal from a fellow CMONer, even if it is just a plastic marine ;-)
I know that they are not exactly pink, that was just me trying to be funny (and failing miserably :-D)

Considering the current "Alien Contact"-controversy and all those silly accusations that we painters and wargamers would approuve of rape and warcrimes, what about donating the cash we will get out of these to a war- and/or rape/abuse-victims organisation? There is one in Germany called "Der weisse Ring" (The white ring) but I would be equally glad if you would choose one in the US or elsewhere.

Oh, if there's money going to be made with this and it's not going to a CMON International Beer Fund, I suggest the final decision is up to jesterzUSMC, as we're just doing him a favour. Maybe he can put it to good use himself, or otherwise a charity does sound like a good idea although I'm much more for a non-profit thing than a charity. A large percentage of charity money gets 'lost along the way' on it's way to the people it's actually supposed to help, so why not something neutral, such as say, wikipedia? No hassle about kind of charity, or who, or why...? Or even dontae to CMON itself. ^^

I apologize for not being clearer.
I am also not into giving to Charity (feed the children etc) but in the "spirit" of charitable donation.
Non-profit is more of what I meant.
Of course I would GLADLY keep the moneys this go round. HOWEVER, the next (with Legion "flavor") should DEFINITELY be for donatin'.
I would much rather give this round to a donation anyway. When you get a bunch of people working on something, it just makes sense to donate the proceeds.
Then, again, if ya'll are okay with it, I'd be happy just keeping the blasted thing, CUZ IT'LL BE COOL!!

Anyway.
Donation ideas are welcome.
So far we have:
War/Rape victims
CMON
and
(*snicker) Wikipedia

You guys make the call, you are doing the hard work.
