As with others here I have no religious belief, but with what ever I have that passes for a soul I am hoping that I can lend strength to you.
I know from our conversations in the past that you have got an inner strength and courage. Fran and I are hoping that these and your own Faith will help you through this.
Doctors alone can aid the physical, but it is with the will and wishes of people here that the Psyche can heal the body.

I find being \'stubborn\' works wonders, as does being bloody minded. Whilst there is a very physical element to your situation, I think that \'mind over matter\' can make a big difference.

Continue to be strong and we all look forward to hearing from you again when you are back on the forums. Who knows, maybe I will have painted something by the time you return - miracles do happen

This is primarily my salute to all my friends and extended family here at CMON. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am and have been for the introduction to this site. Each and every one of you has made me feel welcome and as though I belong to a family, beyond that of my own. I will be away for awhile, as my previous operation didn’t last as I’d hoped and the prognosis for another one so soon isn’t very hopeful; but you see, the doctors, while highly intelligent in their expertise, are not quite on the level with God and they know nothing of my stubborn will and sheer desire!........Besides, I have too many minis left to paint and sculpt!)

Since I developed pneumonia shortly after the last operation, they will wait only long enough for me to get a little stronger….. maybe within the next week or two. The procedure they will attempt was tried previously on two of my brothers and unfortunately, it did not work. I am still very hopeful and very strong in my conviction. Perhaps, I’ll make history after all! At any rate, I will be back in no time flat!!

By the way, this is the only site that I feel compelled to write and let you know what’s going on, as all other letters are reserved for my immediate family. That should tell you all how much I think of you…..And, Chern Ann, thank you for taking the time to put such a wonderful site together and uniting a world of great people. God bless you all, as I have surely been blessed by you! Thank you!!!!

I\'ve got some figures up for sale on ebay right now and the doc\'s waiting for the pneumonia to ease up, so I\'m not going any where just yet. Don\'t you worry...I\'ll get those cookie recipes and be back in time for you to tell me all about adding the C-17 and C-5 to your aircraft scorecard. And Lloyd, do stay away from the Cobra gunship......You don\'t need to add that one! I think you\'re swell already!
