Something a bit different

very very nice, has a Anime-Robot Carnival feel to it for me, which is not a bad thing!

What this has that so many other pieces lack (which might be otherwise amazingly painted/sculpted) is a sense of story built in. It captures the imagination, not just the eye, and to me this is the most important thing, but of course the sculpting and painting is top quality here as well.

I definately think you should do more projects like this.

Thanks a million for all the comments again.

Seems I will have to go scouting for new concepts arts. Just as long as it has nothing to do with war, big boobs, and axes. Nothing wrong with any of it, but I just feel like I have been painting enough of it lately :)

wow....

With your OK, I have new wallpaper.

I see so much of my oldest in her. (And she is graduating tomorrow.)

is there a chance you might be producing the model or is that the only one

Unfortunately I have only made and painted that one...but so many has asked, that I am thinking about sculpting her again and get her cast...but this is way out in the future...

This mini just planted a great big smile on my face. I love it, the concept and everything. There are some technical stuff, I\'m thinking of is the sculpting of the mechanic bits, but that doesn\'t matter for me. You won me over just taking a beautiful concept like this and making it justice.

My favourite mini from you so far and one of the most inspiring pieces of late. I want to see more stuff like this.

I hope we meet in UK again. :)

Sorry for the threadomancy... couldn\'t resist.

I watched Miyazaki\'s \"Spirited Away\" last night with my kids, and it suddenly struck me why Kaple\'s and Browning\'s pieces seemed so familiar. When Chihiro/Sen crouches in the movie, that is exactly how she does it.

It was like the light bulb went on (\"That\'s where I\'ve seen that before!\" )

finally

I had asked ages ago where your avatar came from. Now I know.

Add my name to the list of those who want you to make another for production.

I love it totally, but this is a place to get constructive criticism, so: I would like to see more brown tones on the column, just under the plate. I think they are in the concept art and would make an older, more tarnished look.
