I’m trying to get hold of the yellow one has I’m doing a full 3000 point eldar army based on his purple heart model and need to get hold of him to find out his tech for doing it thanks

Yes thats the one so if anybody knows how to do this plz let me know asap i have just spent 300 pounds today just on paints and brushes just for this project

You see how it goes when you dont lick brushes.. the man haven\'t got a clue!

I\'m going to get back to you in a while if Kiril himself doesn\'t answer. But you have set youself a mighty task.. and if you want it to look like that you will have to invest a lot of time and draw and make concepts before. The most challenging part I think will be to do other kinds of models and improvise the same pattern. But try first drawing the patterns and getting a feel for it.

im sure its a freehand, and it clearly seems to be inspired by giger alien art (H.R. Giger). it would be a good place to start.

Same way Luke did this ELDAR

Its freehand, painted on. As far as I know its done by adding successive layers to build up the highlights and opacity of the paint.

Thats why he/she spent £300 on them!

I would start by painting thin lines over everywhere you want a pattern, then just build up on that with many layers.

But don\'t expect anything over night, and be really patient.

STILL NO PM FROm YELLOW ONE !!!!

and keeps the tips comeing im looking high and low for a tutorial of some sort

Ok attemt one

found a door in the bits box so had a go on that the base coat was ruff this didnt help things

i didnt go for a design i wanted to try and fig out the tech for this style and start getting a feel has this is my first free hand in about 4 years

a good start. i\'m sure kiril (?SP) isn\'t being rude but there are a ton of reasons why he may not have replied - some peeps are having trouble with pms, maybe he\'s on hols or his t\'internet is broked!
