Amazing work and colors. I love what you've done with the armor. It's really cool to see your style applied to a nurgley figure like this.

The funny thing is I first developed an individual style working on my Nurgle Predator so in a way it's come full circle!

I agree, it's just incredible Sproket. I love the spikes (railing?) on his shoulder and helmet. Tentacles are amazing. But picking out individual bits like this would just take all day haha.
Cannot wait to see it finished.

Holy Expletive! This one really is looking incredible. I love the green goop and bubbles. And the scratches on the armor came out so well, very nice.

I was completely blown away when I first saw this! Amazing work. Inspiring in so many ways.

The very first thing I worked on for ‘Project Nurgle’ was Gutrot Spume’s trident so it feels good to finally be able to attach it to the mini! I got a lot of painting done over the weekend and all the base colour is now done. I also put some initial shading in place before I glued the trident to make things a bit easier when it comes to refining the detail.

I can now confirm he will be there! I'm bringing all my GW minis as I didn't make winners day last year - a bit flash but why not.
I'm also going to bring along a little something from 1990 for novelty value if nothing else!

This is just mind blowing. The level of detail you achieve and how you balance it out is always stunning. I've seen your work for so long and always think, how can he possibly better that... then you just do it every time.

You seem to love Nurgle too, do you find it more interesting to paint than any other Chaos type ? Will we ever see a return to the WH40K of the past and a new, updated vehicle, maybe Nurlge again ? I know you wrote on your blog that you wonder how the 1990 Predator would do at GD today, I'd love to see you take that comment further and do something you think would compete (tank wise) at GD now. To be honest though aside the simple base that's still an absolutely incredible model and I still think it would take the sword today.

I haven't painted a lot of Chaos but Nurgle is my favourite. I think it's all the opportunities for texture and special effects that appeal to me.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good my old Predator looked in the company of the current GD winners. I still don't think it's up to today's sword standard but it might stand a chance of winning something. The idea of revisiting the concept and creating an up-to-date version of the predator has a lot of appeal for me. I was talking to Lee (10 Ball) about this very thing at the GD winner’s day. For one thing it would give me the opportunity to incorporate some sculpting into a project, which is something I've neglected since I came back to mini painting. If I were to do this it would have to be a fairly long term project and I could easily see it taking me a couple of years but that wouldn't be the first time!

I would genuinely love to see what you came up with today with the new techniques your using as well as your sculpting skill, those Dr Who pieces in your gallery are incredibly for someone who isn't a full time sculpter. If it took that long you'd have to do other projects in between just to keep your enthusiasm there for it I'd imagine ? Would be cool to see it though and I'm glad you're thinking about it !
