Really nice mini, love that sword. 2 weeks of evening sessions not bad at all, I wish I could do more minis in 2 weeks evening sessions, when I do I am so happy :D

The effect on those bug eyes is gorgeous! I've been having a great time with my first Nurgle mini. :) These are something to aspire to - when my painting skills grow up.

Are you going to be giving a workshop? What's the topic? Painting in general or a specific technique?

No sir. I don't like it. There are so many technical flaws everywhere... I mean one on the left looks like something I could paint and the basing...cork...really...stop being lazy.:silly!:

It looks like it will be nice unit. Do you plan some color variety between members or all of them in same colors?

I'm giving a two day workshop in Cardiff this weekend for the Weekend Workshop the topic 'how to create texture and paint monster flesh' Baking soda may feature at some point:wink:

All the minis will be painted using the same palette of colours but there will be some variation within that. For example the bug headed one will have more of the bright green and the champion will have more red.

Great colors (as always). It's neat to see these guys in various stages all next to one another. Looking forward to seeing you complete this unit. I'm also very interested to see what sort of base/scene you put together for them. Thanks for sharing your work!

OOne hundred percent miniature painting at the HIGH EST LEVEL. The wizard shows us once again hoe he brings these plastic tiny models to life. AMAZING AND I CAN SEE DAVE your always pioneering duff effects and color applications.the muted red/green (burgundy /lime) is soft to the eye.I really never considered using red round the mouth area ,although I've done this kinda work on orks.I can see its equally pleasing on any greenskin.awwwwwww now I have to go try this on plaguebearers of my own.so many models so little .:) thanks for your contributions dave and being as I said a pioneer in the craft of miniature painting.

WTF Sprocket. I've been really busy lately and only now I find out your doing a workshop up the road from me in Cardiff.
Please tell me you'll be doing this again in Cardiff area soon.

That'll be up to John Harrison as it was done through the Weekend Workshop but I'd certainly be happy to do it again!

I've been working away on my plaguebearers since the workshop so it's time for a bit of WIP!

This guy is almost done just needs a few finishing touches and a bit of refinement here and there.
