Was wondering to throw an idea out some nose hairs .will coincide with the ear hairs and look even more goblinesque.lol really fantastik job technically, and mega creative mind..the most innovative mind in mini painting today...and whatever ideas you have you've always manage to bring them into fruition by having your painting render life from your ideas. Really a huuuuge pleasure Watchung you work from start to finish.
I'm toying with the idea but I think it might be a bit over the top! I'd have to make the hairs quite long to enable them to be seen. It might be better to do them as a sort of Easter egg in that you only see them if you look up his nose from underneath!
I've been making good progress on Borgossa and I am really enjoying the change of scale. It's especially good to have (almost) all the parts assembled so I can work across the whole piece.
I was feeling especially pleased with myself last night after I painted the stripes on the waistcoat but I got up this morning to find someone had moved them while I slept (there can be no other explanation!). I'll need to do a bit of tweaking to sort them out but overall I'm still happy with how it's going.
David , looks absolutely brilliant . The only thing I could comment on is...don't shank me... The highlight on the vest top collar it keeps drawing my eye . It looks to sharp ,being cloth , albeit stiff edgeing it looks too squared off.
Amazing, after the initial wow there is so much to see you have to look every where and still I can't stop being amazed. Love the easter egg nose hair!
really nice. The variety of colour tones keeps you interested, and the texture on that hat is inspiring some serious jealousy over here. Top rate stuff.
