Ugh he looks like underdone jerky. He's hideous, but i can't look away. All that detail and tonal variance is just amazing. Great palette on the rest too, it just all ties in so nicely.

Yes coming along very nicely I think your right to tone down the green a bit on the shoulders. The red is just the right tone as well.

I'm convinced that at least 50% of the great paintjobs on here is just ten ball tidying up after everyone on photoshop.

The white is a great idea.

Looking superb, the metallics are fantastic.
White sounds good for the sash, but careful it doesn't detract from the face too much with excessive contrast!

Looks amazing, Sproket. I think white would be a good choice. You could also do a pattern on top of the white. I'm been doing a bit of research on samurai armor for another project and here's a look at some of their armors. Notice the cords around the waist and some of the other details. You can certainly go with pure white, there are examples of that too. But, if you wanted to work in other colors on top of that you could. I'm not sure which would be better. Just something to consider...
