Other one was a bit dead in the water so here's the new one where im actually going to finish some for a change.



New vermin lord put together as a corruptor.

Finally going to find some time for regular painting again! First spare couple of hours went into some touch ups and the red tabard :) started the head to but forgot to take pictures

Thank you for the comments. Unfortunatly it went a little wrong im really pushing myself doing that much skin and i knew it. The paint started to go really chalky so i glazed back towards the midtone and started again after about 3 attempts i gave in for now and cracked out the airbrush and tried something else new liquid masking with some humbrol maskol. I really don't know how i did it before it's honestly like discovering the wheel must of been.

I needed a change from painting skin and fur so took this dread off the shelf.



hopefully i can do it justice it's a fantastic model. Will be another slow one as i'm still plodding along through uni at the moment.

Nice gold swampy , could you bring up the contrast up a bit ,bit darker up top in the recesses and almost into white at the bottom.

Not a big update but a bit done to the dread arms attached now base is started torso is 50% done unsure on if i sould add free hands or weather it.



and i've started a project for a friend.

will be a pre heresy command squad in the end.

the face really needs some TLC but i'm crap with faces. I'll come back to it later

I'm trying that agrullan earth technical paint on the base actually works really well. maybe a little thicker next time to get bigger flakes.

At last i've found more time to paint. I've been watching the painting buddha youtube tutorials and decided to give bens "loaded brush" technique a go. For a first attempt i'm pretty happy with it. Still needs a little work though to bring the highlights brighter and smooth it out.

Been short on time recently but i've managed to do the odd bits.

todays efforts were mainly on zhufors head. I'll be going with the bear head option
