You can probably hardly see a difference but i've been strapped for time with uni being hectic atm.
Following some feedback on other forums i've touched up a few areas and finished the right side of the chest plates red and golds. I've added another few glazed on the bones to help them stand out from the cloak on the commissar.

I needed alittle break from reds so i started a little side project.

I managed to make a small space marine squad out of parts from my bits box. They do have arms ext but i'll paint them later on.

I had a little bit of an issue with moisture in the airbrush even with a moisture trap. I was quite lucky with defects caused by it and as a result only one marines leg was really badly effected. I'm not mixing all the paints to do it again so i'll hide it in damage and dust later on.

I'm awaiting parts for the marines so started something i've always enjoyed. Some nurgle, for a change i'll actually be finishing these as they will be given away after i'm done with them.

I'm calling the metals done for now. Will add dirt and marking later on once more areas are done. Next i'm tackilng the tenticles and the loin cloth. Too much brown at the moment i'm feeling brave so might try to make it look like a crocs skin.

I'm out of time so calling him done.

A few things i'll do at a later date. Push the horn highlights on the shoulder a bit more. Weather the metals ect.

Hey Swampy!

A little more shading on that skin might look nice. I think Nuln Oil is the GW product. But if you are done, then it's time to be done :)

Thank you.

I have a couple of things next on the chopping block.
I think it's called a vermin lord from gw and the clever hunter from nuts planet.

The blight king won the competition at the local gw :).

As for the next project, it'll be the vermin lord from gw which is for next months painting competiton at gw again. Only rule was it had to be a model which uses a 50mm or bigger base.

This is where i am up to with this one.

Ten ball: thank you. I pretty happy with it as it's the first competition where people see the actual model i've entered.

krulebear: thank you. I use the scale 75 paints. I really like the finish on them i only find they can go a little chalky if thined alot. I do only thin with tap water so that could be the cause.

darthmarsh: thank you. All the blending on the muscles has been quite a test so far. So far i'm very happy withh how it's going :).
