Sorry to call you up there, but he says \'That\'s totally wicked!\' My son went though an \'Incredible\' craze, seen it ALOT!

I have a big toolbox that does the same thing, its on wheels too with a pull-handle for easy transportation :D £20, give or take.

Its flashy and all but darn near $300.00 US for that box..Id look for some sort of case at a hard ware store or ebay and go to the guys at Battle Foam and have them cut custom foam compartments for things like mini storage,an Ott Light, paint storage and parts/bits boxes and so on.

I could build a wood case for less than that.

I think the expensive version with the spray booth also has a fume extractor unit with filters. Considering that spray booths with fume extractors etc cost as much as this, I guess it\'s agood deal. The plain one seems expensive though.

Does it have an extractor? I wasn\'t sure... if so, it seems a fairly reasonable price.

I\'d agree with Ritual... (spoken in best Homer voice) IT\'S SHINY.

personally i\'d love to have one, but as far as actual usefulness?

Maybe if you do like, tours to shows or something with your painting, or have like 30+ golden daemons and travel a lot to show off your mad French painting skills...

Well having had Jeremie B over to teach classes and seen him in action in France,he can teach a class with his nap sack with a dozen pots of paint, a paint brush and a few scraps of parchment paper.

I stand corrected. It has been awhile since my granddaughter was here, so I haven\'t had to watch it lately.

Thanks.

Pictish Mini Painting

I'm actually a man!
i looked at this and went \"ooohhh shiny\"...then i went into my local B&Q and saw something quite similar sans the light and spray booth for a tenner (£10).

although i do want a spray booth, but need a new airbrush first.

Hmm...
Shiny until you get that bit of crud jammed in the bit round the edge.

If it had a little vacuum cleaner thing too, then I would be most happy

does it have a set of speakers for an Ipod, or an radio in there someplace? For that price I want speakers! :D:Dlollol

And! A power plug (I\'ll settle for one, two would be nice) to plug in a rotary tool.

I\'m with Anders here, because to be honest all it raised with me is a \"Meh\" reaction.
It looks as if its going to be bulky and heavy which is the last thing I\'d want to be lugging around on a trip. Plus think about the jobsworths in Airport security?

There are lightweight Artist Packs which we could as easily adapt to our needs and lets face it that box while \"SHINEY\" is still going to be a compromise and not be suitable for everyone.

10to1 Mickc22 or Dragon Forge Design could \"knock you one up\" to your exact needs for less. lol

Now, if DFD started making traveling kits, I\'d be all over testing them for him.
:innocent: lol

Maybe we need to start Sweet Talking him.

*Ding!

Apparently I was summoned!

I could make pretty much anything, the problem is with materials and labor its going to get expensive real fast. I thought about what all would go into making a case like that the other day, and to be honest the price isn\'t that bad if its built well.

I once sketched up plans to make my self a box to take to shows and to the games store. Was going to do all dovetail joinery and make it from quarter sawn white oak.. but it would probably cost a $100 in materials and have 40 hours of labor in it. But it would be sweet!

Pretty box, good for traveling really... better then having to buy paints when you crave to paint (done that hehe.).

All in all, it seems practical, it has all the goodies, even a lamp, and that better be a darn good lamp to! For the price, well overpriced? it seems to be more organised then my workspace (even though i actually cleaned there today, i have a lotta junk apparently). But i guess stuff like that have more potential when you look at it in the shops and on the internet then when you have the thing in your possession. It looks rather nice too, got lots of room... well... now i feel like i have to buy it, damn it... :p
