If I came to the boards now, instead of back in 2005/early 2006, I wouldn\'t stay because it seems no matter where I go jester or some of the others will be relating every little thing to sex. Don\'t you think new members to the forums will come here and see the most popular and consistent thread, Tales from the Freak Bar? Sure, no one MAKES me read it, but even us freaks wonder what goes on in here. Used to be comics by Ogrebane, which were quite funny and made coming here well worth it, so I can always hope for that sort of post.

Like I said, the Mancave and Dungeon are excessive and hardly needed, imo. You can have the freak bar, but taking all of General Discussion with you is ludicrous.

If it is the most \"popular and consistent thread\" like you say then it probably says something about the whole general discussion section, opium for the masses and all that. Mostly the more risque comments are confined to these specific areas but I do agree having three seperate threads going for a protracted amount of time is rather un-necessary. They do however tend to fizzle out of their own accord after a while. The Freak Cafe appears to have gone into recievership after the unmasking of Uberstupor by a gang of pesky meddling kids and the whole Sherpakus incident. Room 69 will probably be quite short lived and the Mancave will likely be abandonned in time. At least this stuff isn\'t spilling out into other parts of the forum so let\'s just have a bit of harmless fun :drunk:


Oh, and Bubba do we have any of that opium for the masses back there?

Anyone who knows what 69 stands for though should be able to clue in . . . oh huh this is a dungeon room that\'s full of sex and filth. So, there is warning in the title of that one. Seriously dude, we are all just having some fun and it\'s nothing serious. If you don\'t like what you are reading then just don\'t bother to read it. Provide us with some clean threads.

:no: What is this!!! squabbling in the Bar, ......... ok I know some find Tales from the Freak Bar to be childish and has an overly sexual content, but that was one reason Bubba and I started it in the first place. It was meant to be an on going Thread for people who like roll playing and acting silly to begin with.

I miss Ogrebanes toons but he is a busy man and I’m rather proud he honored the Bar with his wonderful artwork.

As for new people coming to the General Forum and see all the OTs, I’m sure most are wise enough to figure what threads appeal to them and which to avoid.


Now ......Bubba, please a mug of warm cider with a candy cane stir, I’ll be over sitting next to the fireplace with Jesterz and Meg......come to think of it, how\'s the snow machine working Roger.....I’m in the mood for some winter wonderland.:beer:

And the Bar is Role-play in a bar, the Dungeon Room #69 has become a sort of D&D thread. I must be thick, cuz I\'m really not seeing the problem. You know what is in there, and here, so rather than complain...stop looking!
Seems pretty simple to me. If others found it distasteful enough, they\'d stop posting in them and they\'d drop off.

Ah you see, what I normally think of as cider is the alcoholic stuff, and that isn\'t served warm (unless we actually have a hot day in the UK). Before I became intolerant to alcohol, it was my usual tipple.

Oh, there\'s enough snow for a snowball fight. I\'m working on the slopes (hope the neighbours don\'t mind I\'m covering their houses and offices), so we can go skiing, boarding, toboganning (sp?), or just rolling down the hill turning yourself into a huge snowball.
