How about a trip to China, to the Wolong Nature Reserve. You\'ll get to play with the baby Pandas.

Here\'s one saying Hello.

And here\'s one that\'s just been surprised by the Bamboo Enforcement Agency.

The kids are great, exactly what five year old girls and nine month old boys should be. My \"werewolf\" spent most of the winter trying to become sasquach, but is downstairs shaving his head and beard now. I haven\'t really gone back to work since being laid off in September, but occasionally I fill in for the nurses aides at my old office. Otherwise, I\'m still in school full time. I\'m hanging in there.

Trying to find some recent pics for the pyp page, the last pic I posted is about five years old, and I recently cut my hair short. Hubby says he keeps thinking that he\'s got some short haired girlfriend.

Hi Roger! We just got back from a trip to Michigan...lots of snow and then some rain...and Victorville is also VERY cold. Danny (my son) and I are going to attempt to go out to the archery range tomorrow after he gets out of school. I have yet to figure out how to aim the darn thing!! If I point the tip of the arrow at the bullseye, the arrow ends up OVER the 7 foot hay bale and in the next county! I\'m working on it though! Well, I would be if I wasn\'t laughing my bottom off at the panto antics at the mancave!

This SAaturday MY son will be out shooting with Wen and her son. He\'s so looking forward to it. I\'m tagging along to make comments from the peanut gallery. Should be fun!

Always? Does the arrow always do that? If so, then you\'re actually well on your way to getting archery right! Archery is about making the same mistakes over and over again. Never try to hit the bullseye, only try to repeat exactly what you did last time, and then just aim lower. Consistency is more important than accuracy.

Well, that\'s the theory anyway.

This is true! I tried Archery once and I was SHITE at it! lol
Got a bit better nearer the end, but...still utterly crap. I know where a bullet is going, arrows have minds of their own 0.o

lol Genius!

@Wen. Are you looking along the arrow or just lining the tip with the target. The noch end may be lower than the tip, or you may be pulling the string down as you release it, instead of letting go, moving your arm in the opposite direction of the arrow, if you understand what I mean. You see, I\'m an expert from the one lesson I had about 21 years ago. :D

lol least you had a lesson! I just had a bow and was expected to hit stuff!

Prolly why I was so balls at it. I thought about this though, triganomitry does have aplications after all...But not in an everyday life way lol

We used to do a bit of archery at school and I was quite good at it if I remember correctly. The problem was that they only had a few targets so there were about 8 of us to each one. The ones on the end were at such an angle that once an arrow simply riccocheted off the boss and almost hit someone standing near the next target along.

We had to stop after that

lol class! Why didn\'t you just make straw dummies in art?! Then you could have practiced jousting too!!

And Bayonet drills

Wish my old school did that :(
