Tales from the Freak Bar..4

Another day, another attempt at photographing metallics.

I tried cutting out the light from the window and I put a white t-shirt over the lamp.

And I tried one without the lamp at all. The glare is gone but so appears any shininess at all.

I know that the surfaces are a bit lumpy in places (I really must learn not to paint whilst too tired) but after all this time I\'m accepting them as they are. The photos show up some untidyness I didn\'t quite see before but oh well. If these four I\'m doing are the worst of the army then I\'ll be happy.

I also did a few washes on the bones on the bases.

I\'ll post pictures of what I worked on for the past epoch sometime this weekend. I need to fix the banner on my standard bearer.

Donna, do you still think the other bases are more suitable? I\'ve gotten myself into one of those situations where I just can\'t make a decision. lol

Yes I do, they are simpler and would not distract from the mini, also good job on toning down the starkness of the bones, looks much more dark and somber.
