Yeah there\'s normally a good reason  Whenever it was played at our store none of the little gimps could get their head round the fact that it isn\'t meant to be played competitively and used the fact that there are no assigned points values to make ludicrously tooled up characters which they simply charged at each other. What you need in order to play Inquisitor are roleplayers and ALWAYS have it run by a GM otherwise the whole excercise is pointless and you may as well play Necromunda and have more fun. That said if you can find a GM and a decent opponent then it is a fantastic game :D

OK I give up. Liz, what the hell is your avatar doing? It gave me a headache trying to work it out. At first I thought she was trying to swing a cat to see if there was enough room in her little frame but I don\'t think that\'s it...

She\'s trying to catch a turkey.

As for my game yesterday, it was with my Skaven in a rematch vs. those Orcs and Goblins. My opponent had corrected his mistakes from the previous game (numbers needed for rank bonus and not taking any wizards) and made a few other changes.

He wasn\'t in range for any missile fire and only one spell which I dispelled. Then it was my turn. Bolts of lightning shot out from the hand of my Warlock Engineer, arcing across the battlefield, annihilating the unit of boar riders and hence clearing the right flank of any fast moving enemy. Off to a good start.

The savage Orcs tried to close the gap but it was just too far for them to charge my clanrats. The snotlings charged a unit of slaves and the rest of the greenskins advanced. His mage was in range but I used my dispel scroll to canel one spell and dispelled the other with the dice. Animosity affected the Night Goblin archers and so they squabbled, doing nothing else. My slaves won their combat with the snotlings, who were routed and cut down.

My warplightning cannon was not of much use the entire game, rolling a 2 for strength on every turn bar one. It did kill a few goblins but not enough to make back its points cost.

The Plague Monks charged into the flank of night goblin archers. two fanatics were flung in their direction, killing three of them but it didn\'t stop their assault. They defeated the goblins and chased them off the field the during the next turns, although they were too far away when the goblins legged it to follow them off and were able to turn round looking for new victims.

My other slave unit were sent close to the savage orcs, preventing them from charging the clanrats. They were charged and fled, stranding the savage orcs to suffer a flank charge by that clanrat unit on the next turn, after they had dealt with the Black Orc hero and his wild boar. They routed him and in the next turn the warlock engineer finished him off with a lightning bolt up the backside.

Just the savage orcs and a unit of goblins were left. The mage took his toll on the warlock\'s unit and eventually routed them but my slave unit and a unit of poisoned wind globadiers rallied and turned back to join the fight once more. My other clanrat unit finally joined the fray and charged the goblins. My chieften issued a challenge to the goblin boss and slew him with ease. The goblins were routed but they rallied the next turn, only to be routed again and finally fled the field. The savage orcs had seen off a unit of night runners but were then surrounded by a unit of clanrats, another unit of night runners and a unit of slaves, with the plague monks approching fast to help out. The orcs killed most of the night runners but lost the combat by sheer weight of numbers against them. they made their panic test and remained.

That was when the game ended. The savage orcs had survived but it wasn\'t looking like they would if there had been any more turns of combat.

It was just a 1000 pt army. I wanted a horde. There will be ratling guns in the full 2000 pt army but as I\'ve only played the two games in the current edition (and these are the first since 3rd ed), 2000 points would be too much for the time we have to play, what with having to look up a rule every few minutes. lol

That I know, every time I play, it\'s does the cannon explode on a 10 or 11, or Yes I can shoot into close combat, etc. But I have to play skaven as a skaven, so shooting into my troops, rolling as many times for the ratling guns, three dice on the bell etc. I think that its just funner to play that way even if it isn\'t \"tactical\"

:innocent::innocent::innocent: Poor Bigdennis..... better go to the Bar’s infirmary and let Nurse Brunhilda put some ointment on that chewed up bum of yours.

See that “Green Door” to the left of the bar....the one with a cringing demon bas-relief over the door.....head down the stairs, the infirmary is located on the first level.

oh..... and if see Squig Hunter or Sam, tell them to \"Get the Hell out of My Basement!!\" CPS are asking questions again.:cussing:
