Wait, I mean *moan* *moan* threadjacking *moan* excitement ruined *moan moan* F**king bastards all.
Anyway, I did stuff. Now don't shit yourselves with anticipation, I din't paint anything. Just letting you know I was doing stuff.
Joking of course. First the not so exciting leggy wegs. Just some metallic shineys is all. Ended up painting the bits between the "toes" black since I decided it'd be better of metallic after I did the other metallic stuff. Which sucks after doing the rest. Was thinking about weathering though, absent mindedly and figured it'd be retarded to paint the bits that would get most jacked up. Think i'm going with a fresh battle thing, but who know's where i'll run with it. Not me, that's for sure.
Anyway, shineys.
Managed to "finish" the sarcophagus...Then dropped the f*cking thing in a big dolop of silver paint... I think I got away with it after some repairs though. Still not sure what the hell to do with the little plates on the front though so I ad-libbed it for now, at least.
Haven't felt the need to smash it with a hammer yet, but heaps more to do.
ED: Pants, the pics came out small htis time...no idea why it does that. Just hold CTL and scroll with the mouse wheel to enlarge. They still maintain decent resolution.

Or right-click & open in new tab, then they have a pretty decent size. I guess it's the the forum's rescaling voodoo that's been at work. Well, nice progress in any case mate. Those little plates on the front glacis are look good as-is I think, and the rest is looking pretty nifty as well, seems like you've got some good shading going on. If the rest turns out as good maybe we'll get you a real bin hooker. I'm thinking either from Sesame Street (y'know the green one in his bin, he should have a sister), or from the Middle East.

Fanks luv. Like I said, haven't felt the urge to smash it yet, so we're cooking on gas ;P
Tiny update, whatcha fink of the left leg (right as you look at it for our resident eejits). Had no real idea what to do with it, fancied the old school ziggy zaggy wolf guard thing, so I did this.
Not sure whether to add more stuff or not, not sure what i'd put in there though really. Less is more maybe? Added in the scratches and shizzle just so I could picture the outcome better in my head...Which is currently fried.

I woulda laid down a grid, but I didn't fancy the repercussions of any blue on blue from our friendly cousins. I shall stick with that then, now more armour...

Do you mean adding stuff like chapter designs? I keep thinking it's a machine, it needs grease and scorch and wear marks at the joints. But I'm way out of my element so I have no clue. lol!
