The show is lame. Watched half of it and turned it off.
So many things wrong with it. Its like watching one of those CW teeny booper shows with hot teenagers whinning about problems.
Sarah Conner is preparing for the future..yet she is sending her son to school...to learn what? nothing you will need in a world ruled by the machines.
The terminators where horrible. A female teenager? LOL joke.
Terminators that can\'t aim a gun..The show is just lame...

Yeah, i thought the show was lame too. Nothing like taking a movie about a brutal killing machine from the future and transforming it into a docudrama filled with teenage angst.
It\'s also too bad that studios don\'t take risks, and will only give shows that have a built in audience a chance.

As much as I love Summer Glau I must say that she really don´t fit in a role of a terminator.

what the hell is sweeps week?
havent seen this yet guess its not on in the uk yet.
should be full of mcarthur era witch hunt paranoia as terminators begin to infiltrate society, then lots of killing beginning as terrorism building to full scale war as the machines take power.
unfortunately battlestar pretty much covered that ground lol

I think it\'s going to fail.
I\'d like to say it\'s not, but I have no faith in today\'s television writers to make this cool.
Personally, I would\'ve said screw Sarah and John of the past, and I would have taken up right after T3 and continued the story into the future.
Possibly from a young Reese\'s perspective or even someone not directly connected to anyone in the movies.

I agree there Dave a young reese in the begginings of the resistance to the machines coulda been sweet show the labor camps that john freed him from so on an so on woulda been worth watchin tho I think that woulda needed to be an hbo series, no network is gonna have the violence that is needed to do that series right.
\"Sweeps\" week is where there is a huge push for ratings of each particular network. The Networks use those ratings to adjust the advertisement fee they charge to sell commercials. SO, the better the ratings the bigger the dollar they command. When they have these \'sweeps\' weeks...they usually have some sort of draw for each of the shows to really pull in the ratings...Even the shows that are ludicrous prior to the ratings week, go off the hook for those particular episodes.

Oddly, I\'m so out of it that I\'ve never even HEARD of this show!
Hmm... I bet she misses working with Joss. But any actor will probably tell you, work is work and this probably pays very well. And who knows, it might not suck. The previews on Youtube at least look exciting, if not very original.

aye Abbie Hoffman was on the run from the feds and while on the lamb in the 80\'s he did a series of mornin talk shows an such and got on some magazine covers under an assumed name for an enviromental group he helped found called Save the River or some such.... tho sadly he ended up a \"suicide\" so maybe the feds did finally catch him.:wow:
