Terminator Colours

I think it\'s something like about 200 chapters that have been named and there\'s suposed to be about 1000 so plenty of room to make your own. Without looking at the link that DL gave you, I\'s say green Terminators could be Salamanders, Aurora Chapter or Sons of Medusa. Dark Angels terminators are actually bone coloured, although a bloke at the local club has painted his DA green so he can use them as DAs or his own chapter.

As for the other chapters, most use the same colours that the normal marines do.

Matty - if you\'re ever stuck for Marine fluff just ask - I have a head full

If you\'re talking general codex colours, your best bet would be an Ultramarine successor chapter... A green example would be...

I wonder if my post is invisible. I could have sworn I entioned the Aurora chapter and the bone colour of the DA terminators. Still, it\'s nice to be confirmed as correct.

He\'s probably going to sell it on ebay. Buyers can be a bit picky about things such as fluff.
well,
having purchased Insignium Astartes I can tell you this:
Ultramarines termis are blue with white helmets and the captains helmet is red with a white stripe. As you might know dark angels termis are called deathwing terminaters, and their armor is tan/bone not green.

No it won\'t be an eBay sale.
I have planned out a moldel with planned a perfect colour scheme. This wouls have been imense, your eyebrows would have exploded!
But then I realised that dark angels termys were actual not dark green lol
So my plen went to shit, was hoping another marine had dark green termys!
(sorry if my typing was crap, im a bit pissed!)

Yea its for a comp hopefully (its planning for next years GD) so I wanted to stick with fluff.
I had planned an entire colour scheme for the \'scene\' and only after fine tuning the details, realised that Dark Angel termys weren\'t dark green!
So now I have to find a chapter which has Dark Green termy\'s so then I can fit the fluff around the model, but not having to change all the colours.
Salamanders could be a very viable option, although I will have to take the greens right up.

And my brother has just pointed out that the Disciples of Caliban, a Dark Angel successor chapter have dark green termys! So that\'s cool, means I can use all the DA bits I have and they will still fit the fluff.
Plus the have a funky lion thing for banners, which should be good freehand practice.

Ya, that sounds like a great idea
Sorry for bringing up deathwing. Space marines can be (almost ) any color with most chapters you just have to make up a story about why they should be that color, or how the change came about.
If your building an army why not invent your own chapter?
