The glow works well for casting the shadow behind the necromancer. I think once you have got all the elements together and fully painted you'll see what I mean. Its going to look fabulous!

Thanks for the great comments guys ,thank you.
the glow coming from the incantations on the bricks will flow out onto the steel door abit just pick up on the edges and rivets .
in the lower section of the pipe I will be pouring in resin for water which will pick up on the glow and reflect it onto the roof . The Necromancer will be holding the glow aswell.

What a terrific scene you have planned here!
Do you plan on making a big cast shadow from the necromancer onto the walls/ceiling? mmmm.. something like the scene of nosferatu's movie...

Maenas , yes I have already started the shadow on the back wall , love playing with light effects, not real good at it yet but practice practice practice ..
Papa , it's a bit hard to tell them to stick work when I'm the boss .... Of two businesses no less and another being born at the moment , hopefully...
I've got the day off today hopefully get some painting done today

I should have been painting back when I was boss. "You guys just fill up the LEGO and mop the floor, I'll be... painting these for the... Xmas display. Yeah, we'll be selling these. Later. Xmas."

Man I wish I had your talent for base ideas, every time I have to do a base I am having a hard time, I def need to work on that aspect.

That's right terra all models are practice everyone leads is to a piece that is a level up landmark. And even that level up landmark piece is practice. Competition pieces are you guessed it .. Practice.

Poured the resin , came out ...ok looks scummy which is how I want the hole thing to look . Trying a black surround to try and border the whole thing , what do you think

The tree will be bent over more and then covered in vines with the figure coming out of the vines next to the busted statue head .
All stone will be in a dark grey covered in moss with the vines in grey brown .
this will be the base for brother Ter for a mini exchange we are doing .....

Loving the base idea, very sweet. I do like ppl who go out to find parts from nature to make their bases. it shows imagination. if that sourced from a tree root?

WOOOHOOO, that is my mini's base :) I knew I could count on you to blow our minds with your amazing bases!!

The Necromancer's base is coming together so amazingly, can't wait to see a guy in there.

Love the work you put into both bases really high level of modelling but must say I love the little base with the head as much as the big one.
