Dragon is gorgeous, and the bark looks absolutely fantastic. It's amazing what nature can produce :). We are very curious about the result.

I love the idea of the dragon hide pine cone. There's not enough painted versions of Vulcan either (feels my ones accusing gaze from the draw)

Gave the bark a bit of body with some air hardening putty . Made two and will see which will suit the figure better

can any one give me some ideas as in what to do with my necromancer to give it something ,I'm not finished it yet but would like some input. Cheers guys

I agree with darth marsh Timmy boy for the robe dark face light some models though do have more than one focal point depending on what your trying to convey for example when I painted my grey seer the face and the osl crystal ball were two focal point on fulgrim hid face and his sword were two focal Poit's so if your daring you can osl the skull he's holding which will keep in synchronicity with the sewer osl base or the light-dark brown cloak you could have it fading into black.the techniques is a blending based activity but it's called fading .some of the GW painters like our wonderful brush brother kornel Kozak uses it alot he used it on the newest demon prince a light blue body flesh going into a dark bluish brown in the lower legs. You can do it you got this we just give ideas and you just need to visualize if you like what your seeing in your minds eye then use it if not no worries disregard.either way it's a ball knocked out of park ...it's going to be quite a piece.

didnt finish my Iron Hand squad but still entered my local comp , still got third . Not too shabby won a box of the new Liberators ..
