Cought the sculpting bug ,good way of getting rid of my anxiety and letting some art take its place.
This piece is inspired by my beautiful wife , c&c more than welcome especially by other sculptors .View attachment 42793View attachment 42796she is still a work in progress ,based on a daemonette as you can see but more seductive .

I'm confused, did you sculpt the claw? It looks like a real bleached/primed white crab claw. Also I have an ozzy question for you. Do you guys have roo burgers over there? I was literally having this conversation with my wife and told her I would ask.

No guys they are actually real claws off a small mud crab we have an abundance of ,about five minutes up the road from where I live .they are all over the place as well as soldiers,hermits,blue swimmers and more .i get a lot of inspiration from the creatures that our world has . I love real insects,there colours ,shape and pure alien ness to us.
Diggs, we do actually eat roo over here ,it's not that common but yes you can get roo meat in the super market and a lot of boutique sort of pie shops and restaurants and stuff you can get roo meat.
There is a shop just near us called Freddo pies that sell heaps of different types of meat pies,they have won a heap of awards for there pies and they offer crocodile ,Roo,emu and a heap more Aussie meat .
Ive tried roo meat it's quite tuff as you would expect but quite nice ,it's really nice as a jerky.

The sculpt is quite strange, but it looks smooth and proportioned to me. Crab claws give it a little tzeench chaos look. Oh I just have read the word Daemonette below the pic... xD

Just for linguistic curiosity from almost my antipodes country.... is that "roo" meat cangaroo? is what you all generally use to refer to it's meat? just wondering if I go down there and ask for a roo burguer just to taste it ^^

Lol yep Maen, roo meat is Kangaroo. I bet it does make great jerky. Getting back to the sculpture, I was going to quit if you actually sculpted that claw lmao. Seriously though I love how you incorporated it into the sculpt and I really like the flow and movement you have of the entire piece.

Or maybe your afraid to disappeared, since I received Epic's mini he disappeared completely I worried for him, you just don't be gone like that without say something to your friends takes 1 second. Anyway man I am glad you can have a blast in you'r demented workshop

Yes my brother Teronus , I am now painting your figure and finishing off your base. I have been a bit nervous ,I wanted to give you something special . Since getting your Necron ,it blew me away and I want to give you something of the same calibre. I have been practicing and practicing doing more comps and learning reading and studying .
Im not saying I'm good yet but I'm in a better place mentally now and I am excited how your figure is looking .
He is on the bench as we speak.

I understand bro, I don't want to add more pressure then you already have, yes your skills have gone to the roof lately and anything that you will do for me will make me proud, don't even worry about that, your friendship and the fun doing a mini exchange is more then enough. I am just a kid like we are all and I am as excited as any one of us would be to see what will be in my cabinet

Here's a couple I did today , they are basic and baked so now I have something stable to extend on . The first is going to be a Necron bust that i have been wanting to do for a long time , specially because I want Teronus to paint it ..View attachment 43035 He will have shoulders and half chest .
