i gave up ages ago. the stuff is nigh on impossible to find in the uk and the places that do sell it sell out about 3 months before the order even goes out! it\'s mad - you\'d think someone would get some and sell it - there must be a huuuuuge market HINT HINT. i think spacemunkie has managed to get his dirty little mits on some - try p.m.ing him.

I have some for sale. It\'s £4.10 a can plus postage. I\'m in the UK too, But its selling fast I have under 10 cans left out of 60.

Apart from Spacemunkie\'s success. others have found it marketed in \'Magician\'s suppliers\'. I kid you not, apparently it provides an invisible coating that assists in card tricks.
I would do the search myself but, it is late and surely others can use the \'search\' feature??? ...or am I the only one???

Well, I looked around on my can but there\'s no website listed for Testors but it does have a snail mail address:

The Testor Corporation
620 Buckbee Street
Rockford, IL 61104-4891
USA

Maybe write them and say \"We need Testors in the UK!\"
I have written to them and offerred to buy a container load, but simply got the brush off. I don\'t think I am the only one either:(

I treid too a will ago, Then someone I know started supplying it here in the UK. I think he buys in around 2000 cans then distributes them acroos the Whole of the British Iles. He normally has a waiting list for it. I know my mates Radio control car club buy about 10 cans a month:eek:

Testors in the US are completely uninterested. They just send a standard letter to contact their disdtributors.
In the UK I believe RipMax are the distributors and I have even gone to my local radio control shop with the part number...but they are not interested eithe, even when I said I would buy lots...:(

Mahon got me some from Poland, brushon stuff - works great through an airbrush. I am sure he wouldn\'t mind getting it for others if they asked.

I feel kind of bad, looking over at my 3 cans of testors dull, and knowing my hobby store has 100s more for just a couple $ each and being totally unable to get it to you all over there!

Because you can\'t fly with pressurised containers like spray varnish. They\'d have to come by boat.

This is why Dullcote is so hard to get over here. If they could be airmailed we could just get them sent over.

Hmmm so if by some odd chance my husband gets a job over there ( just south of London we hear) ( his company is looking to send a bunch of Nuke engineers to do D & D) and we move to England this summer, any suggestions on how I could bring cases of the stuff with me for Y\'all?
???
