Honolulu and San Francisco are in the top 30?! I\'d really like to see what the criteria they used to pick then, because it wouldn\'t be my criteria.

well I\'d move there just for the pastries...

currently for me the best place to live would be in a bubble on the ocean floor.. anywhere out of reach of any form of technology just me my minis my painting paraphenalia and lots of peace and quiet

Northern California should have been on that list - SF doesn\'t really count.

I guess the appeal is that there AREN\'T really any big cities there, though.

Oh well, I am quite happy with Cologne even though it is not in the Top 30 :) (who put Dusseldorf in there :eek: )

However the only city my wife and me have been too were we said we could imagine living here (so far) was Stockholm - a great city in my (our) opinion.

The best Place to be in the World for me so far -and I have seen really a lot of it by now...- is... Berlin, Germany... The List sucks and it fails to show that Berlin is on the 1st Place...:)...

Edit: Plus Berlin: It´s cheap, it´s sexy... and we have the fu***ing best Chicken in the World... Seriously... and many, many other things...

It´s really different then most people assume...

Barcelona is my Second Choice.... After that, maybe Cracow... or maybe Paris, but Paris is expensive as hell...

I am sure there is even a better place in the world somewhere, but I will have to find it still...:)... Maybe this Richard Branson Island with that Terrace Loo is better then the Kreuzberg... Dunno...

I will have to say Cracow as number one just because I was born there. :p Other than that I would say Geneva as second, Rome third and Boston fourth for me.

definitely my favorite city...
too bad there is no beach, or i\'d still be livin\' there...

vienna is good for klimt, that\'s about the only thing i enjoy about vienna\'s culture, history, and people...

berlin is indeed a cool city...
grafitti, hip-hop, hash...\'nuff said...

cologne is my favorite college town, and bavarian beer rocks...

honolulu and san fran are both very expensive...
the city is the last place to live in hawaii...
it\'s all about the countryside...

san fran is a great town, but it can be hard to get by, with the prices so high...

all in all, there are so many cool cities in the world, but none of them have the whole package...
there is always a plus and minus side...
when i find the right spot, i won\'t budge...
i\'ll put down roots, and grow a garden:twisted:...

Dusseldorf??, Okay guys i´m officially calling this ranking cheesy - no way dusseldorf is so high up in the list. Vienna by the way i get.
I visited it once and it´s a great city - just too cold for my taste and too many Starbucks ( yeah, must sound weird to you guys from the US but we only got i few Starbucks here in Berlin )

@ Matt Cexwish: From one fellow berliner to another : you´re right. I don´t say were better than vienna but we are definately better than dusseldorf


And for me the most beautiful place i´ve ever been was western ireland - and to anyone here from Dublin : you got a great town folks:beer:
