The Bloodletter, the Terminator and the Pillar

Nearly there with the Terminator now. Certainly enough not to post it up again until it goes onto the scene - there are some extra bits and pieces which will appear on it (and a number of things to touch up), but hey, it\'ll be somewhat of a surprise :D

And there I was thinking that I wasn\'t gonna show you more of the Terminator. However, I need your views! Does this look odd to you?

No reason to be sorry - it didn\'t look quite right when I did it, but I was swayed slightly by the photos, which made things look less fuzzier than in real life! So, they\'ve been taken off, although I\'d like to keep the idea on the back-burner for another project in the future!

Anyways, thanks guys - thought I\'d try it out, but suspected it might not work quite right!

Well, I think I\'m fairly happy with it now. There are one or two things which need a slight fiddle around, but I think it\'ll do.

Bigger snaps can be found here (http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh287/Joekarame/BPT/) if you want to see close-up of mistakes and issues ;)

I\'m finally happy with the pillar - it was a bit of a half-way medium between the really toppling one, and one which basically wasn\'t toppling enough for me. As ever, it\'s been a real learning curve and as always the support and help (and criticism!) have been absolutely invaluable for me to even get there!

So...on to the next project then!

I\'m proud to say the vines were made by myself with long sausages of GS, and the leaves were just those little brown leaf seed things you can buy.

I\'m not a fan of that particular crackly power thing you did but I\'ve had similar thoughts myself. I\'ve thought several times about trying to impart movement or action with a similar effect. Has anyone done something like this? I\'ve thought about using clear resin to make a \"swoosh\" thru the air like in comic books or something.

And I really like what you\'ve done here great job!
