I can see and agree with what you say about Lovecrafts stories. Thanks for giving me a little insight into what you take from Lovecraft, I appreciate that!
I think you may be on to something there about my reading interests. Since you\'ve mentioned it I enjoy very little from about the 50\'s and earlier. I read them and can appreciate that often they were cornerstones and inspirations for the genre they are part of but rarely do I find those works to hold up to their modern descendants that have often taken and improved on them.
