I had the \"How do you guys shrink the sculpt down to only an inch tall\" several times when working a game store. My favorite person, however, was one who was going through minis and pulled out a conjurer whose left leg was attached to the base (assembled it made the mini less 2-D). She angrily berated me on how stupid it is for mini companies to make models who are seriously injured instead of whole characters, and refused to listen to my explanation that you just glue them together.

i´m 24. And yes i know that´s not old. but let me explain.

During the last years german hip hop became more and more popular and of cause all the kids (or a big majority, judged from what i see every day) took up the slang and the behaviour of these \"gangsterrapper\". I´ll save you the details, i think it´s enough when i tell you that the most popular song is the a** f*** song. just imagine 14 year old kids sing it.

everytime i leave my local game store, i see kids hanging around at the subway station, binge drinking ( we got 13 year old kids with alcohol poisining ) or talking about sex and other people in a way that makes me feel VERY old. That´s why i made this comment

you think Mr. Cage is as scary as german \"Gangsterrap\" ? Watch in awe:

(Note: watch it on your own risk. )

Now imagine at least two thirds of the kids you see at the streets looking like him and talking like him. 13 year old kids talking about \"bitches `n` stuff \". Once on my way home a gang made up of boys who where maybe 15 years old, where sitting in the train singing the following line over and over :
\"you got to f*** the victim \"

suddenly the train was VERY empty.

welcome to my nightmare:cussing:

@generulpoleaxe:

Please, don´t get me wrong , but that doesn´t really calms me down. And i heard english hip hop / Rap , trust me it´s not nearly as violent, condecending towards women as it´s german counterpart.

and with the drinking: I know binge drinking is big problem in england. as a matter of fact everytime the toppic came up in the german media, england was mentioned as a negative example of what germany´s youth could become.

We\'re pretty good at binge drinking too, but our hip-hop has more of a hippie, can-you-feel-the-love type of image. Not that that makes the music any better... but at least it isn\'t that tasteless,

Yup. A California accent is what the news casters use. Bland American accent used in most movies is from California. According to the boys I talk to in England I definatly have an accent but I don\'t hear it. But then I wouldn\'t would I? :D

yes it is. He´s not the numbe 1 right now, that´s a guy called bushido, but it´s basically all the same stuff - some self declared gangster who sohws off how bad he is. And not only is it a poor rip off of the US hip hop , the kids also see these guys as role models.

Last year they was a big concert fot teenager against hate, prejudes and violence in schools and \"Bushido\" was invited. he used his time at the stage to talk about the \" queers , faggots.... \"

It made me sick to the bone :evil:. Imagine how
homosexuals must have felt like, when all these kids applaused him after his song

Nah... this guy is probably the most popular in Sweden.

He seems like a rather nice and smart person, but the music really doesn\'t appeal to me.

@Lizzcam

Oh god , thats embarrasing :redface::). I always thought the accent i heard in the Movies is the eastcoast accent... . But i find it hard to hear the differences between the several american accents (except texas) anyway . if we two should ever talk with each other, i would probably not be able to tell if you have an accent at all. for me it would just be plain american english

@ Ritual : I have no intention tot turn this into a music thread , but i like it. No idea what he´s singing about, but the song is very nice.

@Farin: Well, like I said, the guy is smart and a generally nice guy, so I really have nothing against his music. He\'s good at what he does. I\'m just not into it. But, let\'s leave the music talk aside... :)

The dumbest thing, apart from the post I made in the other thread, that started this whole thing, is some guy, after having looked at my stuff and being impressed by it, asks me \"Why do you do this? I mean, it\'s incredible, but I don\'t see the point.\" What do you answer to that? ???
