Well, it\'s doing so in more ways than one. One: I\'ve never been so \"into the hobby\" as I am now, this site sure has it\'s hand into that one.
Two: I\'ve been playing with the idea for 2 years now... My own store (games and hobby, that is). How I\'ve pondered so. It\'s not that I don\'t dare to do such a thing. To qoute Noir Désir from one of their songs: \"Je n\'ai pas peur de la route\" (I\'m not afraid of the road ahead).
It was the money that held me back, as this is the stuff that makes our society tick.
So I saved me some money, a family member died (I\'ll always miss you Omi), I quit filmschool and I took every crappy job I could get my hands on. Now, finally, it\'s here.
I signed a contract, got the necessary documents, and paid first month\'s rent. I held the key to the store like it was a brick of pure gold.
The next day I had a day off, so I got in the car, loaded it with tools and started driving, everything done in the timespan of a couple of seconds. I stood in front of that buildingdoor and
turned the key around twice. Nothing was actually happening, but adrenaline pumped through my body. Standing inside I coughed, too much dust had gathered inside.
I now have time till 20th octobre to get the store up and running and I feel fantastic.
