The details of the paint-off between Chrome and Shapoopie:
The task of prepping, priming and otherwise touching up the model itself before the actual painting commences will be deadlined on Sunday the 7th of Mars, from that day we will have one month to paint our models.
The model will be a Tyranid warrior built only through using the standard equipment found on the basic warrior sprue without further conversions other than the options provided by said sprue.
I think that was the summary of what we agreed on. Anything I missed Shapoopie?

Okay, so I finished my little dude, took his picture and now am wondering if all I need do is email it to paintoffchallengeref@yahoo.com or is there no ref at that address, and Waghorn & I have to post them ourselves and loose the anonymity?
I am also wondering if Chern Ann can swing these minis to their rightful painters after there is a winner, as I am really scrounging to try and get my 5 in so I can see just how far down the food chain I really am. I would dislike having to make (well hope actually) that people would come back and vote for it a second time.

Since we live on opposite sides of the planet, it will be tough for us to post them at the same time.
Unlesssss....
Since Gallery images don't show up until approved by a moderator, if the mods don't aprove the first one until the second is there as well. This would get us simultaneous posting, but we would still loose anonyminity.

I was the ref, but like I said before, no time on my hands, so if anyone wants to take over they can feel free. I can't remember the password but if you pm barstool prophet he might be able to tell you.. 
OK Necrogast is done his wraith so:

Don't think I'll be doing any conversions actually. Wanted to give him a power sword but I couldn't find one

OK I know the winner is decided when the votes reach 50 each but at 48 with a score of 7.2 is daGoz - wag scrapes a paltry 5.6; 2 more votes won't make any difference to the result.
Congratulations daGoz and thanks for the challenge.
I would like to thank Wag for the challenge as well. No matter what the scores are, I think we both came out of it better than we went in, and made a new friend to boot. I actually finished painting a mini!
Chrome is definitely right, this would have been a much closer competition if Wags pics had come out better. My photo-fu is mediocre, but I saved his pic and gave it a work over and was pretty pleasantly surprised by what I saw. I couldn't do anything about the focus, but if the mini I saw after tweeking the white balance and such had been in focus, I have no trouble believing this vote would have been at least a full point closer.
