Y\'know what? I, the referee, will accept the newb\'s challenge. By the time our 28 days of painting has past, I\'ll have a new camera and will be able to take pics of my finished product again.

I\'d take a challenge, (I don\'t think I\'d do very well as I still can\'t take decent pictures) But It\'d be fun. It\'d have to be limited to GW though and I\'d want it to be maybe something I already had. Beasts of Chaos? Space Marines? IG? Any takers? Oh and I think this\'d be one to post on the referee\'s account it would be more interesting to have a comp where it was anonymous. (It seems like some peoples challanges aren\'t)

As for mini, after reading your first post on this thread im going to suggest a GW model as it will be something a little different for you.
The winged vampire lord:
Its got a bit of everything on it, skin, armour, cloth, fur and a bloody big wing.

If its not to your liking, then maybe
Wulfrik the wanderer (GW)
Ice queen of hyperboria (crocadile games)
Aoi Inukai (Anima tactics)
are all models that i would also like to have a crack at.

I think my LGS has one in stock for easy pick-up, even.

I have a specific challenge for anyone who thinks they\'re hard enough:
A conversion of a plastic GW Terminator with an adversary of your choice.
You may arm him (or her I guess) any way you like, but it should be based primarily on the plastic model rather than one of the metal characters etc.
They may be fighting any roughly man sized adversary.
This is a conversion challenge, not a painting challenge, let me be clear on that point! (If you\'re up for it we could then talk about a paint-based re-match on the aforementioned model!)
I know it\'s specific, but I\'m thinking of doing a squad of them, and would like to have a go at a test piece first...Competing like this will force me to pick up my game.
People dont seem to think it\'s a versatile kit... anyone up for the challenge of showing otherwise?

EDIT: Actually I\'ve had a change of heart... no I\'m not backing out, I\'m going to make this challenge specific to one CMONer... The undisputed heavyweight champion of the marine, Mr. Vincenti. He has provided me with such inspiration over the years with his GD entries, and I want to reach for the stars. Take this on Vincenti, it\'ll be fun!
