Just a heads up to everyone, we will be receiving the Painting Guide on May 11th and will ship them out ASAP. There will be reviews on the Guide in Harbinger, Fictional Reality and Wargames Illustrated very soon.

A rant...

I wanted one of these, if only for the pretty pictures (I\'m easily amused). Now I\'ve not been keeping up to date on this thread and it seems that PayPal is the only way to pay for the damned thing. That sucks. No, that\'s not quite right, that SUCKS!!! South Africa does not support PayPal because our glutinous and grubby governmoent charges VAT on bank transactions, and they get no such thing from PayPal.

All these sites that support PayPal alone... grrrrr :flame: Well, screw them, clearly they\'re not in need of my purchase. :~(

...And a big round of applause to Darkson Designs for their customer service... due to inept clicking despite clear instructions on the Paypal checkout, I ended up paying 2.50 USD too much. Less than a half hour later, an unsolicited 2.50 USD refund had been expedited by Darkson to my Paypal account. Thanks and kudos out to you!:D

Well, I think Darkson Designs deserve a bit of an apology from me for my rant. Yes, PayPal is a sore point for me, but still, it was uncalled for.

Thank you Modderrhu. I was told by one of the \"Big Guys\" in the miniatures business \"that this is a cut throat industry\". And I dont buy that for one minute I think its what you make of it. We will do our BEST to make our customers happy.

The book sounds great, I may need to get my hands on one.

I am confused though, people sound suprized that their minis are in the gallery pages, did you not know beforehand ???

Wow 25 pages of gallery pics it is worth getting just to drool over other peoples works of art, and that is before I start to read it.

I am eagerly awaiting my copy of the painting guide! I\'m dying to see what my article looks like in print and also to read the other articles and all.
