The little guy just arrived here and freaked out my slightly thick mother who couldn\'t understand the idea behnd all this. Man, he looks really great in person. I\'m really afraid to touch him, let alone paint him..... I think I\'ll muster up the courage next week, I am never able (or allowed) to get anything on the weekend (ask sakura for reasons 
).
As to his condition: Marvellous. His sword is slightly bent and \'m not going to bend it back, all the rest is great. I\'ll have to do the gloves in NMM too to keep consisten with the style, so I\'m going to train on some of my personal (crappy) minis for a while before actually trying it there.... I think a little blueish steel would suit him fine.

Sorry guys, have a little problem here. I have a Magenschleimhautentzündung (now here\'s a task: translate a German medical term to english). Means my stomach gives me some problems. That leads to my hands shivering all the time, so I can\'t really paint well, let alone to NMM (and that happens after I actually mustered up the courage to do it - go figure). Neither do I want to keep Alfonse here for too long. So, if you are OK with it, I\'m going to make a base for him. Would that be acceptable?
Almost finished he is I see.
That\'s cool, whenever I come here there\'s a new part painted.
I\'m for donating the eBay money to CMON though. That was the original intent and it still has my vote. But looks like I\'m outnumbered..oh well.
@Mosch: I saw your post about your Bernd das Brot lamp. You have no idea how jealous I am.
About that nasty gastritis: I have a disgustingly tasting, smelly magic potion of chartreuse colour which could cure you. It comes at a price though... Let\'s say....a Bernd das Brot lamp? That\'s really quite cheap.

I got him right here. I have made several bases and can\'t really decide (I think I\'ll just send all), but I also want to make some more..... however, my university calls for me, all the tests are coming up now, and there\'s some more stuff to do around here.... just two more bases, I promise

I had him wrapped up and then forgot him in the depths of my computer table (and you could lose a herd of goats there). Then I remembered him, unwrapped him, put my notes on the progress paper thingy and wrapped him up again. Sent him away, went home and sat down, admiring the fact that I left the piece of paper lying on my desk.
