The whole point to me was so we could see other peoples work firsthand and hopefully improve. Most importantly it was to have fun painting. Give it a go you might surprise yourself!

I know from your gallery that you prefer to paint quickly, but in this case I would suggest that you work as slowly as the paint will allow.

??? My gallery contains three miniatures, one \"self sculpted\" blob of clay, one speedpainted orc and a Formor Fiend that I really took my time with. Don\'t want to sound like a smartass, but how do you deduct from this that I usually paint quickly? I take really long and my miniatures look really crappy anyway :p

And, well, I\'ll repeat it once again: I love it how this miniature is taking shape. It looks great. If you send it to me, I know I will destroy the paintjob. It\'s not ill will or something, I just can\'t paint that well. You ahev been warned. I would not send it to me, and I am me (sounds stupid, doesn\'t it?). Should you decide to send it to me, I will do my share and paint, and I will do my best, but mark my words, it will be a terrible experience for our dwarf....

My apologies If I have misinterpeted your descriptions over your painting speed. No insult was intended.

But I stand by my observation, I believe that you can do justice to your section of the mini. :)

Do what I did Mosch....

I was worried about messing our orcs up too, and was pressed for time so I found a small area on the back of the mini that was hard to mess up and not terribly noticable. As the others said, this is a great opportunity to participate in a multinational project and get to see some amazing painting from others first hand. Hang in there and just do your best, that\'s all we ask. ;)

Cheers,
Grumb

Unfortunately, cause I have had so much to do lately, I forgot to move the message containing the list from my junk folder, so it has now been deleted :(.
Maybe you can email the list to Avicenna, Gypsy?

What is this? The Cursed List from Hell? I\'ll email it to Peter. (please nobody mention that this was my idea)

Nice green tone btw. What is that? Something from the Model Colour line?

And if Mosch really doesn\'t want to take part, there\'s still frenchkid and now Calavera who\'d like to. So it\'s really not a big problem, if he doesn\'t want to just leave him be.

Thanks for the comments :)
The greens I\'ve used are GW Catachan Green, Vallejo (mc) Golden Olive and GW Rotting Flesh.

But where\'s Avicenna? I need your adress so I can mail it to you...

I\'m in somewhat of a dilemma here, I am sure I wouldn\'t be able to do a job as good as you did, but then again I said I would participate.

So, in conclusion, I am at your mercy ;) If you want to, send it and I\'ll try my best, if you don\'t, don\'t do it. Just don\'t come complaining afterwards :D

Mosh, your last minis have been 6+. Like me, you are breaking brushes on that 7 barrier (and I think your fiend should have done that). But, pick a spot and paint. Have fun. If you are self-concious as I am about being in the lower half around here, pick a small spot as Grumb mentioned. I see a scroll tube on the backpack that is just aching for some tan, ivory, cream paint.

I understand your sentiment Mosch...

It is a little dauting, but I don\'t think there is any pressure what-so-ever.

What ever happened to the American Round Robin (the reaper fig?)...it would be a good time to see how she is coming....

Well, a parcel arrived for me today, and i was wondering what the hell it was as i only ordered my dvd writer yesterday and i thought that it must have been some kind of miracle!

But no, its was something far more interesting, a little ginger dwarf named alfonse. We have had a wonderful discussion about his journey, truly wonderful.

Oh now he has a name? Did you baptize him? :D

Glad the project is moving on. Especially after the monstrous delay when the dwarf was moving in my direction.

Who\'s making fun?

*dwarf whispers in Peter\'s ear*

Alfonse says he finds your comments hurtful, and that you are a nasty man!

The mini is awesome by the way!! I cant wait to get some paint on him!

Pete;

If the metal is talking, then you really need to quick licking your brushes..... ;)

On another note, does anyone have a copy of the picture that Margo posted with the beard and eyebrows added. I\'m trying to compile a work in process page and the link that Margo posted is broken. Did anyone save off a copy?

Cheers,
Grumb
