My goal is to improve our website, fully stock our eBay store with low-priced minis (shameless plug ), and paint, paint, paint better. Oh, yeah, and try not to tax everyone here at CMON\'s nerves by asking too many questions.

1. Finish commision work

2. Get the 6 entries for next years GD done(while working on free hand work)

3. Get the other 2 entries i don\'t have peices for designed

hmmm... sure hope i can get that done in a year.

My main painting goal at the moment is to finish painting Trogdor (I\'ve barely started him so far), complete some other minis that are 90% done, but which I\'ve lost interest in and try and get through some of my huge backlog.

My non-painting goals are to finish my PADI open water scuba course within a year, pay off my holiday and save for another one. Another goal is to go out and birdwatch more.

Dude, don\'t you know that God allows you to stay alive as long as you have minis left too paint? NEVER paint ALL of your minis.

I figured everyone would realize this is an impossible goal. I have hundreds of unpainted minis, most of which have been ported from home to home over the past 8 years unpainted. Then of course I just keep buying more stuff to sit on the shelf. I bought some VOID stuff when it came out and haven\'t touched it since. I just can\'t resist a few new minis now and then.

CMON goal, as has always been, reach the top 25% I\'m not too far now.

OK, first goal reached. Now - learn to do eyes properly. There has to be a trick to painting something so small with a brush that is bigger than the eye. (I\'m kidding, I use a 3/0 W&N). But I have \"cheated\" too many years with the technical pens.

Make it to the top 100. Before the burnout I was ranked #103, which miffed my pride, and now I\'m #138 or so. SOME people have been busy while I was taking a painting holiday :flame:lol.

Anyway, this is my latest bid to make sure Mike doesn\'t catch up, i don\'t think it\'s approved yet at time of posting this reply, but have a look in a bit, it should be up then.

Yeah? And how many pounds of unpainted lead are you going to sell off to make that a reasonable goal?

You know painters never finish all their stuff - soon as your unpainted pile gets to where you can measure it in single minis instead of pounds, you go out and buy more stuff.

My goals:
1. Get my painting group at the local gaming store really kicking

2. Take a carload to GD Atlanta `05

3. Come back with several Demons for our little band

4. Find a good price to charge for commissions so my work is steady but not insane

5. Paint up my own SOB army

6. Get at least two minis per month sold through Ebay

My goals are the following:

1. Get rid of my painter\'s block demon (\"Argh, burn you evil bastard, burn!\").
2. Get back to my usual painting standard.
3. Crack the 9.0

Hmm... nice thread, here\'s my goals:

- find more time to paint (I\'m back after 6 months)
- finish all the miniatures for the Italian GD (at least this is the last one, in December)
- start selling some miniature

Oh... I have to add one more goal:
- get closer to t_haye2 and dragonsreach rating

and it\'s impossible to reach them but I know I can get closer

It\'s not that long ago I was in the 200\'s. Just keep trying to improve small sections and then; Hey presto you\'ll be hot on our tails.

Any help I can give, just ask. Several painters on this site including Tammy (t-haye2) have helped me, (big mistake on her part), so I always try to help others.

I dont think articles count,not sure though.The water base article I did was way above my average score at the time and my ranking didnt seem to move.and I was \"rank\".lol
Btw your talking as though your ashamed to be ranked in the lower 200.Im about 360 and really chuffed.My rank has gone up about 300 with the last 2 posts.
So watch out for me......
