Things that scare you...

Bass strings are even more fun, I got a dud in a pack once, had a spot on the string I didnt notice (I wipe my strings clean before I even lock em on)
This was in the days of my 5 string, and it was my low B that went.

Caught the skin on the side of my index finger on my left hand, and tore down from the first joint, to the knuckle.

I think I said a few words of some colour.

My guitarist thought it was hilarious, as they do.

Thats why I dont like guitarists :D

Yea, you say they only suck, but look for some youtube videos on that camel spider. What is it doing to that lizard?

Well, technically speaking, camel spiders are not spiders. Spiders inject venom and then suck the liquified prey up through the fangs. Look, I really just want to reassure you that you won\'t have the flesh chewed off your bones, you\'ll simply be reduced to an empty, dried-out husk of skin filled with bones. A far less terrifying thought, don\'t you agree?

Which reminds me of this other dream I had a long time ago, but still gives me the creeps. I was being stalked by two demons. The first was pretty typical of a demon. He just wanted to torment my soul. The other was a very scary dude.

He had a huge bulbous head with many different faces all around it. It had whitish pale skin and a big grin in the middle of it\'s head filled with razor sharp teeth. I wasn\'t able to avoid this thing. It caught me and devoured my entire body, with the exception of my face. He left only the connecting bones of the front few inches of my skull.
Let me tell you, there isn\'t a lot more disturbing than watching yourself being eaten alive by a demon... I didn\'t sleep at all the next night.

Demon and dreams about Satan are always fun...
Nothing scares me really, nothing out there anyway. The possibility of ending up with another fractured heart is a bit of a bitch, but thats outwith my control.

Oh wait!
the way Highbulp Billy looks at me when were in the elevator...Yeah, that scares the shit out of me.

*applauds for all the self control demonstrated*

Four pages of fears talk, and not one person
quoted \'The Usual Suspects\'.

For myself... I overcame my fear of needles, recently.
I fear fighting. Not because I\'m afraid of getting hurt,
but because I don\'t like hurting other people.

I get hurt all the time. I\'ve been hit in the head more
times than any four people I know, and am possibly
competetive in numbers with many professional
boxers.

Though this could explain my behaviour, as well...

I would have to say bees, hornets, anything that stings. Seriously, I turn into a little sissy and run away when I see them. Only because I am highly allergic to bees stings. <insert goofy girl from American pie voice here> This one time at summercamp, we were hiking and some dumb kid at the front of the line, knocked over a yellowjacket\'s nest, I was 4 people back. I only got stung 17 times.
Oh, and snakes just freak me out...no rhyme or reason. As long as they are behind glass, I am ok with them.

I\'m frightened most of helplessness.
That is to be caught in a situation and being rendered powerless to act for my survival and the survival of my family. This has haunted me for years, to the point of paranoia---as a result I have become ever-increasingly aware of any surroundings I choose to be in. Environmental awareness, so to speak, of any perceived threat within the range of eyesight.....

and clowns.:D

You should read Into the Abyss by Benedict Allen. He went treking across Siberia and attempted to cross the Ice into Canada/America.
His dogs ran off.

Or Touching the Void by Joe Simpson. He was climbing a mountain (forgot the name) and broke his leg and fell into an ice hole.

True stories of survival they are.

Into the Abyss, now that would suck, losing the dogs, I may just have to read that one.

I am afraid of situations where I have no control, I am afraid of helplessness, I have no idea how I survived infancy...lol.
